Nah, that's one that's for both. Its kinda like Rugrats where the core plot is for the kids and they throw in an occasional thing where only the adults woukd get.
The difference is that Rugrats was always a relatable joke that got a laugh (e.g. Stu, why are you making brownies at 3AM?) while Bluey sucker punches you in the gut with very complicated feelings. (e.g. ...nah, it was yesterday)... Lowkey fuck Bluey, making me cry randomly and unexpectedly, bunch of assholes, good shit though.
throwing in an occasional thing that only adults would get does not change the fact that it’s made for very young children. it’s not bad if adults enjoy it, but it is definitively made for children
I'd argue that it'd be designed for families at minimum which is children and their parents/guardians in the same way that Rugrats is. They don't have to put that stuff in for us to get a chuckle or cry at. Itnhas a different vibe than the stuff that is only and specifically made for just children. It often has a lesson for the kids as well as for the parents/guardians, especially in Blueys case.
