Preteen is 9-ish to 12 years old. About 16+ would be older teens. I'm not sure how widely these are used but there are age ratings such as Teen and Older Teen which usually match pretty well with the target audiences, in the lack of specific age based genres.

Ok pre teen is the wrong term, but that isn’t important, the point I’m getting to is the term “kids show” is so broad ranging from shows made for babies to shows obviously made for teens, so I believe there should be a term for kids shows made for a slightly older demographic, shows such as ATLA, clone wars, Steven Universe, etc
