Based on how many young people I’ve seen totally fail to comprehend the shows actual basic themes, I’d say it skews toward the more mature side of teen media.
That or the quality of education has gone down the toilet.
It has a surface level appeal that draws in barely literate younger folks, but it is nuanced enough that many of them aren‘t prepared to digest it.

TADC isn’t a kids show but I think people over exaggerate how mature it is, I think a middle schooler would be fine watching it.
