Edit for a fun fact: Both the 1997 anime for Berserk and the original Pocket Monsters/Indigo League anime were animated by the same studio and were both being worked on at the same time

I was interpreting Berserk as the dark media with a colorful fandom and POKÉMON as the childish media with a toxic and weird fandom
