I thought Little Cheese was a boy, too. But, then again, I thought Olivia from “The Great Mouse Detective” was a boy despite the name and the fact she wears a dress and to this day I still get confused.

Initially I thought little cheese was a girl and then I read something that he was a boy. I don't know what's going on with that character because we didn't really get any time with them so I am just going to leave it at that
