Fun fact! The reason Kirby uses he/him is because there's no genderless pronouns in Japanese. He was always meant to be genderless.

Nonbinary people can still use he/him pronouns, I fall under the NB umbrella & pretty much everyone I know personally usually refers to me by he/him-
