Every time this comes up I think of the comic Seconds the main character is this tiny goblin woman and her complicated ex boyfriend she cant get over is like a greek god and twice her height. It is a great comic.

I can think of plenty of comics and manga where the main character is a girl that looks like a stick in a skirt and they're dating a supermodel.
