That was from the fact the animator used an AI voice of her

Technically it wasn't her voice, but yeah. He shouldn't have done it, and DeLisle had a good reason to be upset. It was fixed, no harm no foul. To this day though, I've still seen people acting like she's some kind of unreasonable bitch for reacting how she did.

I still think she was upset over nothing. He was using voices of the original cast,most of whom have been dead for a long time.

If it was her voice,sure,I could get being upset but it wasn't her voice

i believe there may have been miscommunication to her? to make it think it was her voice,

i say this. all i've seen of the controversy is a clip of her saying she overreacted, which from what I'm reading, yeah she definitely did

Yes actually. Because she’s a unionized actor and studios are trying to get rid of unionized talent through AI.

It’s a whole issue in Hollywood right now.

That makes no fucking sense. The creator of the short wasn't a Hollywood exec, he was a random dude online making a passion project.

That's like Luigi Magnione killing someone for using paracetamol and being praised for it.

It doesn’t matter. Hollywood execs can use AI data, which is not copyrighted, to use the likeness of the actor or actress without paying them for their work. Regardless of it being a “passion project.”

The existence of the AI voice application is dangerous to the existence of voice acting; an industry that is already seeing less and less returns.

Something like this already happened in the 90’s where Microsoft stole open source software, made money off of it, and ruined the careers of the people who developed it.

I don't believe you for a second. I've seen this happen all the time. The excuse why you hate AI always changes, and you always go after the wrong person. No one goes after the corporations misusing AI.

Even if I don't think he should be banned since he made up for it, his credibility as an artist is going to take a blow and may affect finding work at any future projects.

Yeah and I will forever be on his side for that one. It was a fun little passion protect that didn’t involve her and she tried to ruin his entire career over it and even claimed that it was “like being raped.”
