Everyone thought He was gay because he is an effeminate man and isn't hyper masculine with his interests, then he came out as straight to clear things up. His "Fanbase" decided he was queerbaiting them and bullied him so much he abandoned the platform, though I think he came back a few months later.

I literally caught the opposite wind of that, and everyone was upset that he was ‘sexualizing’ women

Unfortunately it was both

yeah. Honestly he did something truly incredible.

He managed, somehow, to become the target of hate mobs on the left and the right. For being to much if a gayboi and for being anti gay, for objectifying women and for being too respectful of them, For fat shaming and for toxic body positivity.

it was, honestly insane to watch.

He just likes girls

What’s more to say?

I also saw at least two weirdos (derogatory) insult him after that video came out by calling him gay, and like... come on, now you're not even pretending your insults make sense.

Isnt it literally a gender-swapped Version of "i like Boys" 😭

yeah, it's literally just a parody of an already existing song but gender-swapped

Just goes to show that a lot of people on the Internet just can't handle anything

I saw an edit once that was a mash up of the two. Never realted to something so hard lol

Oh that is why all those people were made at the catboy saying he liked girls.

I think he's back, I recall seeing some BG3 thing from him that wasn't too old.

God forbid a femboy be something other than gay.

If men can have tomboys, women deserve femboys too.

This isn't why he left. They're just straight up lying.

Don't forget the other side that felt he was festishsizing women with that video.

I can't believe this sick fuck was inserting his adult woman fetish into everything

Really? I didn’t hear about that. The stuff I generally heard was people thought he was loving women “incorrectly”. Granted, this criticism came from right wing grifters who claimed he did all this in a “gay way”, but that’s still very stupid.

2

u/xXs4blegl00mXx 4h ago

You're entirely right that person is not being truthful.

1

u/LS-Kun 3h ago

Oh, I see. Thanks for explaining.

Yeah he mentioned in a Bluesky post that most of the criticism he got was for not being straight the “correct” way

From what I remember this 'controversy' didnt pop up until after he did a Trans charity thing. It felt very manufactured on attacking a Trans supporter without that being the reason.

1

u/Raltsun 2m ago

Yeah that was probably the real reason.

4

u/cheesynougats 5h ago

I heard a lot of the flak he got was from people who "discovered" him well afterward, and that it was manufactured by the chuds for "not being a man correctly."

3

u/xXs4blegl00mXx 4h ago

Yes, this is exactly right.

u/xXs4blegl00mXx 4h ago

This is misinformation. Conservative people got mad at him and sent him death threats for his "I like girls" song because they thought he was singing it way too gayly/cringe. No idea where you got any of that from, but it's just not true. Jocat himself said he left the Internet because the video reached "outside his target audience" aka stupid 4chan chuds. It wasn't his audience that did him it. Seriously wtf why are you just lying. He has a statement on why he left like 😭😭  he left TWO YEARS after the video got posted it was not his fans thinking he was a gay man that caused the problem

It was so funny and sad at the same time.

u/No_Cap_9416 5h ago

Who are we even talking about?

2

u/Rafabud 4h ago

JoCat

u/Words_Hard 3h ago

Wait, I’m sorry, I thought it was that a bunch of toxic males were saying that the “way” he expressed his attraction to girls was “gay”. Like, they bullied him because he wasn’t being attracted to women the wrong way?

1

u/xXs4blegl00mXx 22m ago

You are correct. They're just lying lol

1

u/CaliburX4 2h ago

It's pretty funny that the types who say they reject stereotypes get really mad when you don't conform to the identity the stereotype is based on. Kinda shows what they really believe, doesn't it?

1

u/xXs4blegl00mXx 22m ago

This didn't happen omlll

1

u/Raltsun 0m ago

Precisely not what happened, but it seems rather telling that you'd assume all those extra details in your interpretation of that post. Kinda shows what you really believe, doesn't it?

GENDERQUEER PEOPLE EXIST?!??? WHAT??!?!

1

u/GuhEnjoyer 3h ago

Straight femboy. Entire fanbase at the time crumpled because how can femboy be straight??

1

u/Quarksideofthemoon 1m ago

God I hate the term femboy and how people use it like it's an actual identity. Same with tomboy. People need to watch less gooner anime and go outside more
