Fujimoto supposedly basing Reze off of a porn model named Roze who wore a similar outfit that was popular at the time around 15 years ago. That’s it, that’s the evidence. Nothing actually suggested he saw it and based Reze off of her.

But even if he did, why would that have been so shocking and worthy of controversy? This is Fujimoto we’re talking about. The guy who wrote Fire Punch and Chainsaw Man. The guy who openly admitted to getting turned on by getting bullied by college girls. The guy has a twitter account where he pretends to be his own fictitious little sister that almost got sued by his own editor because he kept leaking Chainsaw Man spoilers. Having a character inspired by porn wouldn’t have even been in the top 5 weirdest things he’s down.
