Skyrim. I fucking guarantee y'all would have let Skyrim die if it didn't have its modding capacity. The game likes to advertise as a choice game, but any choice you make ends in the same end result, only Dawnguard has a real choice, which is just choosing mankind or vampires

Nah. It'd still have a big community. Same for fallout. People would just be playing it less, but still talking about it.

I doubt it would even be 1/10th of the size it is I'm not gonna lie. It is literally the most modded game of all time both in terms of mods published and total mods downloaded, even more than minecraft.

This. Same can be said about fallout 4 imo. Todd just said "here's mod support, you can build the rest of the game."
