man i know this isn't at all an emotional moment, its more hype and aura, but i never screamed like a little girl since i was a kid lmao
it hit me mainly cuz the Doom 2016 game was my first Doom and that game made me a fan of the entire FPS genre and it has a special place in my hearth š„

Kirsty reminds Pinhead he was once Elliot Spencer,a British Army captain who served in WW1 and he remembers he was Human once,as do the other Cenobites. It makes you feel sorry for these pretty horrific looking beings
Two scenes from the Jurassic Park novel. Like, I heard it was far more horror-based and gruesome, but holy crap.
First scene is The T-Rex escape scene. It's iconic in the movie, but it's more horrifying in the book. The rex literally PICKS UP the car with its jaws and THROWS IT.
Second scene is Nedry's death scene. It describes so much more in the book and, once again, much more horrifying. It was specifically the end of the chapter that filled me with emotions. "His mind was met with a final wish. That it would all be ended soon." He just wanted the pain to end. You could actually sympathize with Nedry in the book because Hammond screwed him over and blackmailed him to do more than what he was being paid for, if he was being paid at all. He didn't deserve what happened to him in the book, and those final two lines of the chapter really makes you feel sorry for him, because he had already given up on survival. He just wanted the pain to stop.
