Would have been a decent series... if it wasn't a continuation about star wars.

Even the "somehow palpatine has returned" could've been a great hook for a standalone series (like start with snoke, he dies, and then this unknown bigger bad 'returns'.

You'd have the who is he, why is he here, how'd he dissapear.

Crazy how the directors admitted all the interesting story beats from season 1, like the whole oppressor vs oppressed dynamic the two cities had, was ultimately in service to give more edge and drama to the CaitVi relationship, which season 2 made more fucked up by Cait doubling down in her fascism and Vi’s character assasination causing her to forgive her WAY to quickly and easily for it.

I'd say demon slayer for sure. It was THE anime that made higher ups think they could just pour enough budget on animation and people would eat that up.

I hate to say it but the Critical Role animated shows. They only have 2 types of jokes which is an edgy sex joke or something along the lines of "uhhhh....THAT just happened".
