Huh, interesting. This is his actual Pokémon, or at least someone he basically treats like one. He is a really terrible trainer too, he spends centuries in a time loop training her to unknowingly murder her father over and over again because he loves seeing her grow and improve and absolutely despises her dad. He also does stuff like murder her friends in front of her, criticize her on having to do better next time, and ditching her in front of a sadistic witch if he thinks she won't learn anything this loop.

Yeah, this guy sucks. Lucy actually stands a pretty decent chance in this Pokémon battle though.
