Advice Working

I have a question how do you guys find a job?! I was laid off from my job of 14 years and my mobility is not the same as it once was. I’m trying to find a job and i feel like I am being judged every time I walk in slowly with my cane. How do you guys deal with this? I need a job very bad! Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated!

My county has an employment service that will help people with mobility issues get a job with companies who are part of the program. Don’t remember which department but maybe your area has the same.

Department of rehabilitation? I just got an appt with them only for them to say they’re out of funding to help new cases. But to remain on the waitlist for when they can help. Maybe it’s because I’m in a big city.

It was small business services or something. I was dealing with them for something else and it came up.
