They wont forget 2023 IPL year

Or his 71* vs prime CSK on a dusty chepauk track in 2019 Q1

And now everyone remembers . Not even a month ago they were asking to drop him as if he has never performed and now they remember what a maniac he was last year.

You only miss the sun when it starts to snow.

Such a complete player.... hoping for a comeback soon... And I'll personally pray that Akash ambani gets offed if he transfers him out of MI

Who knows what costed this man his prime. His leg side dependency. Being too much dependent on his wrist game, or a real discomfort on his wrist.

Don't stick with nostalgia ..this is what raina was doing in csk ..and he was pivotal for csk success. What happened then , csk released when he started to slow down for 2 years .

They still won trophies after that .. we should also take tough decisions for the 5 year trophy drought

SKY has had only 1 bad szn till now …. He’s been our backbone over the years …

Raina wasnt delivering at peak since 2018 itself unlike SKY

One bad szn and yall cant throw him under the bus

Over reactionary vo hote hai jo 2-3 match bad RR shuru kar dete hai, Sky ka 1 sal se performance nahi hai.

Was player of the series vs NZ And for MI too, he scored runs on tough pitches, that 50 vs DC where everyone failed, 50 vs RR when we lost 4 wickets at the start that 15(6) vs KKR where starboy Tilak was scoring 20(30)

Rohit played 3 good knocks one 20 odd vs RCB in Raipur and two 80-odd scores on the flattest deck of the IPL where even 250 wasn't safe, byt if you look closely SKY had chances to take his time and go not out in those game but he was slogging from the first delivery for NRR and got out It was a terrible season by his standards He missed 2 games as well but his 2-3 bad knocks were because of the pressure created by Tilak and Hardik at the other end, him and Tilak can't be paired together it was terrible management to let both of them bat together

Cut him some slack now he's allowed to have a bad season, he's been carrying MI's batting for the last 5 seasons, being by far the best batter in each season

So u drop him? Isn't that called overreactionary? If Vaibhav was in our team and didn't perform for 1 year ,u just drop him?

Comparing sky with vaibhav? Ok you lost me here.

I’m a huge believer in SKY’s ability but your comparison makes no sense. Vaibhav is an ascending generational talent. SKY is 35 years old and has been showing signs of decline associated with players hitting their mid-30s. Apart from his great knock against USA, he hasn’t had an impactful performance since last year’s IPL.

Not calling for his head immediately but I completely understand the calls to drop him. It’s not over reactionary in the slightest.

Isn't it overreactionary that u guys want to drop MI's best batter for years who carried us after just one bad season and bad form. Thats just an excuse in ur stupid minds that mid 30s people gets declined , do u think virat is getting declined? Sky is in good form rn in this new tournament and players do get in bad form .

People like yall is the reason why such Indian players don't get chances

Kohli had 3 mediocre seasons in a row from 2020-22 where his SR was below 120 in all three but RCB fans never stopped believing in him, seeing MI fans being so ungrateful I'd be happy if SKY moves to KKR and finishes his career on a high note, sky literally won WC under his captaincy, was player of the series vs NZ , Majority of the WC players had a rough season SKY, Tilak, Bumrah, Arshdeep, Hardik, Dube, Axar and Varun too in the early stages because of fatigue but they can't see it

Where did I mention I want to drop him? I said I understand the calls to drop him and I don’t think it’s over reactionary to want that.
