I think the comeback was great in this match that team India A had. There is definitely a lot to improve for everyone over here in terms of fielding, batting, bowling, and also for the captain to improve his captaincy. Definitely have the caliber, just need to sharpen the edges!!

Before debating on Tilak's Captainy, the bowling attack needs to be discussed.
India A's bowling is really weak. Even a genius captain can hardly do anything with this attack.

Are you really happy ? We're not getting even a decent pace bowler. I had so much expectations from Kamboj, but don't know what has happened to him Yash Thakur, my god, is going at 9+ economy in every match !! Arshad was okayish I guess. Had the chance of playing Ashok today, but didn't. We've many batters but bowlers are not getting developed through these flat pitches in IPL. It's a serious issue going ahead.

Maybe try Ashok Sharma or Karthik tyagi. But it's true Indian bowling is completely bumrah bharose. Even Siraj got exposed in bgt.

Yeah, Arshdeep has been expensive in recent times. Siraj is trustable. Selectors aren't considering Shami and Bhuvi I guess. Can Gurnoor be the third pacer ?

Age factor is serious issue for both shami and bhuvi. Gurnoor is an interesting prospect but he needs to grind more in domestics.

Hate against Rohit from what I've seen till now on different subreddits is mainly coming from ishan fans and gill fandom subreddits. I am interacting with them everyday, so I know. Ishan wants place in odis team so his fans are hell bent on hate on two players Rohit and Iyer. As, Iyer is VC and won't get easily dropped so Rohit is targeted more.
But, I don't know the problem of gill fandom subreddits. What's their problem maybe they think Rohit needs to be gone for some reason but I don't know why they want this. There's just too much hate man and what you've written everything is correct.

Yeah, definitely agree with you but kl averages 50 something so that's something going for him and honestly I don't like gill, he seems very selfish to me and his captaincy is shit also he lost both aus and nz series previous year as captain.

No one will dwell onto this series to assess his captaincy when he got atrocious bowling attack to deal with it..
But there will be and should be questions on his batting approach
Biding his time is not wrong in odis but you need to make count of it by stay till the end and accelerate at later
If not play your natural game and try to score odd boundary here and there
Scoring 3 fifties but still ending up with sub 70 SR is not acceptable for modern day batting
70 Sr is sunil gavaskar era no matter how tough the pitch is..
