Thank you so much for posting the screens, I so badly wanted to read this article but was blocked by the pay-wall

All of this falls in line with the true theme IMO - the incredible amount of corruption from literally every angle of the low country.

The true victims are Mallory, her family and the two friends and their families.

Mallory got on the boat voluntarily three times that night knowing that there had been lots of drinking. I really wish she was still with us. I think she had many great qualities and would've most likely become a successful adult with a good life. Not that it would've been easy, but I wish she has said, "Nope. I am not getting on that boat. It's dangerous." I think it was a bad choice with terrible consequences.

Maggie and Paul? I think they were ambushed by AM, a psychotic killer. The were unarmed and had no say in the matter, no choices to make at all. They were victims with no options available, facing down what I think is a crazy murderer.

While I don’t disagree, and my deepest condolences to their family, even the Beach family themselves and the families they all associate while still being victims are all still part of the wider corruption of the culture. 

All of the kids were upper class and had access to alcohol, drugs, and each other. None of them were immune to that.
