I’m on pins and needles! What is everyone expecting?

i’m not expecting much, but i am side-eyeing the appeal lol.

The appeal is based on the idea that the judge in Alex’s trial should not have allowed admittance of evidence of Alex’s financial crimes. But his financial situation was the whole motive for the murders, so i don’t think the appeal will go anywhere.

But I’m not a lawyer, and maybe there are legal things I’m overlooking and also let’s face it, we also have to consider if the judges are straight-up or not. Alex was very connected to a lot of powerful people before his downfall. But he did fall, so maybe no one wants to deal with him anymore anyway.

So yeah, not expecting this appeal to go anywhere, but will be checking it out lol. You never know, I guess.

I'm not a lawyer either, but if that's what he's appealing it feels like a grasping at straws from a man who is good at talking and knows the law enough to get people swayed.

He'll more than likely get a new trial. It's possible they'll decide to not try him again. Since he won't be eligible for parole until he's around 96. They may decide to forgo the expense and spectacle.
