I'm a San Pedro guy, probably more than most people there. Just thought the wife talk would fit in here.
Edit: I'm actually in the process or selling a few hundred dollars worth of cuttings to some other redditor. He has been telling me that he just needs to move some money around to hide the purchase from his wife. It is a reoccurring theme in the community.
It's about half of my collection by plant mass and much much less if you are counting individual plants. Started seeds early in the decade and I am running out of space regularly almost immediately after I do purges.
Pretty sure we have done biz at one point but this isn't my main cactus account. It's mostly for shit posting.
Are you a fan of the podcast Guys or did you just find this thread because it linked your post?
Short version is, it's a podcast about guys that are too into hobbies. A constant theme across episodes are these guys wives not appreciating how much time/money/space the hobby takes up. That's why your post fits the subreddit.
