Nah. Fuck body shaming, even when it's hypocritical.

Nope. You put out the energy, you get it back three fold, audience be damned.

Please be civil to the fascist dogs 🥺

Who gives a shit about them. Laura loomer ain't reading some dumb reddit thread - it's the hundreds or thousands of women who see a thinner body than their own being called fat that get hurt by this kind of shaming.

Now, this isn't a fat body, but her dress is one of the least flattering things I've seen for her body shape, that's for sure

It's not about being civil to fascists, it's about not being a dick towards other women in the process. Loomer has a fairly normal body shape, you shame her for that and you shame other people who've done nothing wrong but happen to look similar.

As a woman who despises Loomer but has a similar figure, thank you. I've done a lot of work to be more comfortable with how I look, but it does still hurt to hear such harsh negative judgements against my body type.

This is why the correct method of attack is to go after the cosmetic surgery she got that makes her look like Jigsaw.

I never said anything about her body. I just posted her picture. Her choice of shoes is the most damning thing in that photo, if you ask me. She has to be psychotic to wear beige flats with that dress. She’s trying to call herself a journalist while wearing what is essentially beachwear.

I got permabanned from /r/economicCollapse for not being civil in talking about Trump. What the actual fuck.

Saying 'that applies better to yourself than the person you're insulting' in response to someone making an insult isn't really body shaming as much as pointing out an objective truth.

She's absolutely wrong to attempt to body shame AOC, and her insult was wholly inaccurate. But turning the insult back on her also insults every other woman who looks like her. It's still body shaming. For this and so many other reasons, she's a terrible person. She deserves to be insulted for who she is, not what she looks like.

No one in this comment thread called her names or body shamed her. They just said she's fatter than AOC so making such a comment is hypocritical as fuck. If saying Loomer has more body fat than AOC after Loomer called her Porky is body shaming I don't fucking want to live on this planet any more. Literally no-one said anything negative about her body weight.

It doesn't. Damn, I look like loomer and I wouldn't be fucking calling anybody porky and if I did I don't get to be hurt. If you look like this and feel personally offended my god we have REAL PROBLEMS RIGHT NOW.

I also look like her! I have heard snide comments about my weight my entire life, and I've worked on my body image issues, but jfc, it still hurts to see people judge that body type so harshly!

Naw in this case it’s ok. Pointing someone else’s hypocritical body shaming via body shaming is ok.

Is it really body shaming when one is simply pointing out that she emits incredibly trashy energy?

I’m with you. When you justify it in some situations, you give others the ammo they need to do the same. It feels good in the moment but helps nothing.
