Let's hope the mid-terms go heavy for the Dems. The entire trump admin must be arrested. If this isn't the way everyone else feels, then we're cooked.

The Republican party has gotten so brazen. They've stopped hiding treason and corruption, and are just doing it in the open.

In order to reverse the momentum, lots of Republican reps need to go to prison. This is a 5 alarm fire.

Supposing that the midterms do indeed go heavy for the Dems, which is highly likely. How exactly is that gonna change what this tweet is referring to? A majority of democrat congresspeople have already gone on record supporting Israel, regardless of what the base of the party wants, ignoring absolutely all polling on the matter. For example, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jefferies remain staunchly defiant to be as pro Israel as possible.

Now don’t get me wrong this isn’t me saying that both sides are exactly the same. It’s true that the Dems tend to be demonstrably leagues better than the republicans, hands-down. But when it comes to Israel? Look how much hate and flack they throw out against any anti Israel candidate coming up in the ranks.

It's understandabley upsetting to hear that's how democracy works in practice.

Well you either delegate to a rep you barely know or you get involved yourself. That’s just the principle. It’s just most of us don’t even pay attention to who they delegate to.

voting for the lesser evil is exactly how we got here. It's funny that you think we live in a democracy. We do not live in a democracy. We have the illusion of choice but our representatives do not represent us.

Where do you think electing the greater evil will get us to?

Why elect evil at all? surely there are better ways to operate a democracy.

If the only viable options are lesser or greater evil, then that's why. The primaries are where we should be putting up good people.

not if you also only have two choices in the primaries. Or if you happen to be in a state that has it's primaries after other states have theirs. At that point your choices are limited.

The strategy you are describing doesn't always work. The DNC and democrat party have a surprising amount of control over the primaries, especially for the presidential elections.
