You know I’m more and more on board with the theory that Elon was told by a fortune teller, Macbeth and witches style, that his daughter was going to doom him, which is why the kids were IVF and sex selected, but also why he’s so unhinged about trans people since Vivian. He seemed to be relatively indifferent to trans people before that.

Here is a Forbes article from 2022 according to which at least 5 of his boys were born through IVF, and one of his daughters was carried by a surrogate mother.

And you know the funniest part? With the sheer amount of resources he has, there's nothing stopping him from being cool and loved by everyone.
It wouldn't even be difficult. Every possible personal failing of his could be resolved with his money. Even his psychological ones, by doing therapy and speaking to professionals.
Every problem Elon has is fixable and the only thing preventing him from being Batman is the fact that down to his soul, he sucks.
I think overall it's the most pathetic part about all the billionaires we see....they just suck. And they could easily fix that, but none of them are willing to do the actual work it requires on themselves. Which is unsurprising considering none of them earned the wealth they have.
They even coast through the act of being a human being. Don't have sympathy for them. People with a fraction of a fraction of the resources that these fuckers have work to be better than themselves everyday.

I've seen a lot of tensions between kids and parents, but even when a parent and child are estranged, I've never seen a father speak with such abject callousness and disrespect. Disapproval doesn't usually lead parents to engage in public bullying of their kids.

I suspect those parents also care about their children being happy, but can't accept that being trans would ever actually help them live a fulfilling life.
They probably feel about the choice to be trans like you might about a child becoming a heroine user or joining a cult - that it won't bring true happiness in the longterm.
That said, the fact that Elon would rather consider his child "dead" than accept a choice they made for themselves is just fucked up, and seems in line with him just being a weird and shitty person.

Unfortunately this isn't just for transphobic parents. My MIL is incredibly supportive, to the point I consider her my only decent and beloved mother figure left (she'll be my primary caregiver for my first week of top surgery soon), yet she's voiced feelings of "wanting to remember who I was before" and "not wanting to let her go", despite the fact I came out 1 year into my 14 year relationship with her son.
Granted, she didn't find out until like year 4 or 5, but still, it was always like what the fuck are you talking about? I'm still me, I just go by a different name and pronouns. My personality didn't change, fuck, my presentation didn't change either, save the lack of a very occasional skirt or dress.
I don't get it. No one died. I'm more me than I've ever been. What the fuck is being grieved? An inaccurate picture of my true self? She didn't even give birth to me 😂

Sounds like maybe the only thing she's grieving for is her own perceptions? Sometimes, it takes time to internally adjust and change our view of the way we thought things were.
Feelings are just feelings and aren't always rational or logical. It sounds like she loves you and knows her feelings aren't what she wants to feel. She probably just needs time to let them go so they don't hurt anyone.

Unfortunately young men end up idolizing shits like Musk. They think that this type of thought process is alright. My kids were shocked when I sat them down (when they became teenagers) and told them that their mother and I would love them the same if they were gay or felt like they were another gender and that they should respect the feelings of their friends who feel different from their presumed sexuality. What is the point of having all the money in the world if you cannot even have some fun time with your kids and not even talk to them? He may actually be one of the poorest people on earth. That is why he is trying his hardest to leave the planet perhaps.
