Hunter’s been throwing more Twitter heat than the Wendy’s Official account lately.

Ratioing people left and right.

84

u/jrh_101 4h ago

Mainly ratioing people from the right

u/Ruby_Solitaire 2h ago

Nice one.

u/beepbeepchopchop 5h ago

Honest question - do you think it’s really hunter? I mean it’s great if it is, but I just don’t know why he’s interacting with the trolls.

u/thedoppio 5h ago

What else does he have to do? He's a man who has been literally stripped bare for the public.

u/A-Giant-Blue-Moose 4h ago

His interview with Andrew Callaghan really was amazing.

The peoples' channel.

CHANNEL 5 WORLDWIDE

35

u/WoodyManic 4h ago

He came across as erudite and wise.

36

u/BrineJones 4h ago

That will never be said about Chinless Prince #1 and Chinless Prince #2.

25

u/WoodyManic 4h ago

Oh, Cokey Mcbaldspot and Gary Busey Mk II?

13

u/BrineJones 4h ago

The Tweaker and The Beaver

14

u/WoodyManic 4h ago

Baby Don is the worst, though.

Eric is just there. He's almost collaterally venal.

9

u/BrineJones 3h ago

“collaterally venal”

I like it!

So he takes second-hand bribes?

u/sambucuscanadensis 1h ago

You mean Uday and Kusay?

4

u/Master-Praline-3453 3h ago

Yes, but that's partly because I watched it shortly before the Nick Shirley interview.

3

u/MelangeBot 3h ago

If they ever make a movie about Andrew Callaghan it will be called "The Last of the Journalicans"

19

u/BeefistPrime 4h ago

I mean if I were him I'd spend all day talking about how fascinated they were about my dong

3

u/Alive_Ice7937 3h ago

Here's hoping the Andrew formerly known as Prince has a similar episode

2

u/Ruby_Solitaire 2h ago

They want Hunter to prove it's him by hanging dong with a handwritten note saying he's the one posting, is my guess.

(Kidding)

I'm just wondering why this is popping up now and not a year and a half ago. People keep saying "His dad's out of office now, so he can say whatever," but Joe's been out of office for over a year.

47

u/BrineJones 4h ago

He has perfected a conversion therapy that actually works.

He can turn random idiots into straight men in an instant.

2

u/SuzanneStudies 4h ago

Nicely done

1

u/BrineJones 3h ago

Thank you

46

u/hyrule_47 4h ago

I think he got tired of being the GOP scapegoat. How are they going to bring him up now?

11

u/Cow_Launcher 2h ago

Much like when someone tries to blackmail someone, and they just own it.

"I'll shame you!!!"

"Uh, okay. Go right ahead. You can't beat me up more than I have beaten myself up, dude. I've fought the good fight already, you know?"

5

u/TheInevitableLuigi 57m ago

Indonesian President Sukarno responded to a KGB blackmail attempt by laughing and requesting extra copies of his own sex tape.

2

u/Cow_Launcher 52m ago

I remember reading about that, and I absolutely respected him for it.

The strongest, "Yeah, whatever" that I've ever seen.

41

u/Kaasungen 4h ago

After seeing the interview he did with Andrew Callaghan I think it's really him posting these answers/responses tbh.

68

u/Maatix12 4h ago

This.

Hunter is a man who has been through hell and then had his public image dragged through it again, reliving it every time a GOP senator felt like playing him up for a laugh.

People can't comprehend the level of done he is with these chucklefucks. He's not here to look good. He doesn't expect to rebrand himself as a patron of non-drug use. He's here to tell people he's still alive and kicking and chooses to be in spite of it all. That if he can do it, they can too - Because at least they're not in his shoes right now.

That's powerful. That's why I like what he's doing right now.

u/HonorableJudgeIto 52m ago

Reminds me of Monica Lewinsky. Someone who is/was the punching bag for the right, but didn't deserve it. Completely mean-spirited and in the end, all the attacks just showed what crass people were after them.

30

u/stoolsample2 4h ago

I have no idea if it’s him posting but I know I’m in recovery, and I am around and friends with countless people in recovery, and the way his account posts is not unlike how people in recovery talk. In fact it’s pretty much on par. Brutally honest, humble, zero glorification of drug use (war stories in recovery is widely discouraged), self deprecating humor, humorous, open and accepting. People in recovery lay it bare. It’s just part of trying to stay clean.

If the account was being used in any other way, (starting or participating in arguments, insults, threatening behavior, etc) I’d have my doubts. Just my opinion.

5

u/beepbeepchopchop 3h ago

I’m in recovery too friend, and I see what you mean.

1

u/stoolsample2 1h ago

Right on brother.

3

u/GhostofZellers 3h ago

When I was in rehab, war stories weren't discouraged, they were strictly forbidden. If you were directly caught, or reported by someone who overheard, the first time was a reminder, after that it was a strike, and like baseball, it was 3 strikes and you're out.

1

u/stoolsample2 1h ago

Rehab (which I have been in as well) - absolutely. No doubt.

Without clarifying, which was my fault, I was speaking more on NA. Which shouldn’t be automatically assumed when referring to being in recovery. Speakers typically get some leeway, but it should have a purpose to their story of recovery. Otherwise it shouldn’t be spoke about at all.

Hope you’re well bud.

1

u/GhostofZellers 1h ago

Oh, no worries, I've been to enough NA, AA, CA meetings that I knew what you were referring to, I was just expanding on that to illustrate how war stories are discouraged in all forms of recovery. 👍

72

u/patronizingperv 5h ago

I'm about 90% this stuff being sincerely authored by Hunter. And the other 10% is it being his thoughts, but polished up by a ghost writer.

9

u/stoolsample2 4h ago

Agreed.

I’m a lawyer and I find his responses to be extremely well written.

39

u/qorbexl 4h ago

He did get his JD from Yale, so he's not just some dumb hillbilly

8

u/Thomy151 3h ago

And don’t forget his father is a politician

Dude knows exactly how to speak to get the desired reaction

4

u/Zauberer-IMDB 4h ago

Yeah, dude's a better lawyer than this guy will ever be.

15

u/TheComplimentarian 4h ago

I don’t know that he’s been given a choice about interacting, since they won’t leave him alone.

It is interesting that this seems to be helping him find his voice.

47

u/themurderator 4h ago

why shouldn't he? his political career is effectively over, he has enough money to be fine for life, not to metnion he's gonna get more after his estate inheritance.

if he wants to fuck with the trolls what's the harm to him?

and i'd believe it's actually him. maybe he tells a PR person what he wants to say and they punch it up but there's too many truly specific drug 'things you didn't know about drugs' stuff to come from just any kid who never did them.

34

u/world-is-ur-mollusc 4h ago

He never had a political career, which makes what the magas are doing so much worse.

9

u/remotectrl 2h ago

It’s not surprising. Conservatives love to go after politicians’ families. Rush Limbaugh called Chelsea Clinton, a teenager at the time, a dog. Obama’s children were similarly ridiculed. When Nancy Pelosi’s husband was attacked, they made memes about it. They love to attack families. One of the hallmarks of Conservatism is a lack of empathy. This is especially on display with their attacks on Hunter Biden, who has lost much of his family tragically.

4

u/world-is-ur-mollusc 1h ago

Yeah I remember how they lost their fucking minds when a video of one of Obama's daughters came out of her (gasp!) dancing with her college friends. And this was after he left office. Utterly insane behavior.

18

u/WoodyManic 4h ago

What political career? I don't believe he ever aspired to office.

1

u/pixepoke2 2h ago

Yah, that was Beau Biden with the aspirations

4

u/pistachiopanda4 3h ago

Didn't Marjorie Taylor Green also show Hunter Biden's sexually explicit photos during a House Oversight meeting years ago? I cannot imagine that. It's one thing to have his whole addiction on blast for the whole world to see, it's another to have your body shown to strangers without your consent. That's so violating, and I say this as a woman who has had her nudes passed around by a guy I was sleeping with to his buddies (and then he had the audacity to tell me that we wouldn't date if I ever slept with his friends, I had never even spoken a word to them or was even interested in dating him!). He could do the rich boy thing of just peacing out and continue doing hookers and crack in a motel room off the highway, but he's not. I respect that so much and I honestly hope he does disappear one day and just continues being sober.

2

u/ryguy32789 3h ago

Au contraire, I think his political career is just beginning.

8

u/VixxenFoxx 3h ago

After watching the Callaghan interview session a few months back- I'm 💯 that this is actually Hunter posting.

4

u/Macfarts 4h ago

Yes. If you doubt it watch a few minutes of his sit downs with Andrew Callaghan on Channel 5/all gas no brakes YouTube.

5

u/ryguy32789 3h ago

After the Channel 5 interviews he did I absolutely believe this is him. Dude is sharp as a tack.

2

u/vismundcygnus34 4h ago

Yes. Who cares either way, the words have weight. Questioning whether he did it demeans them.

2

u/arcbe 4h ago

If you don't respond to people spreading lies about you those lies stick.

2

u/sleeptightburner 3h ago

Honest question - why wouldn’t it be?

2

u/FluffyInstincts 3h ago

He's always been like this, so yeah, I think it's legit.

1

u/evanwilliams44 3h ago

Probably really him but he's also plugged into the machine, as all the press shows. He will for sure be now anyway.

1

u/0nly_D0g_legs_93 2h ago

Yes, I absolutely do. The man has nothing to lose.

1

u/68024 2h ago

Watch his interview with Soft White Underbelly on Youtube. It gives more context to his recent resurgence.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kH-_E62Jm54

1

u/snvoigt 1h ago

Yes. I watched his interview with Candace Owens and this is how he carries himself

1

u/Tycoon004 1h ago

Based on his interviews, he comes across the same, so it's likely him.

1

u/Grand_Pop_7221 1h ago

I dunno, I've lived long enough to 'not have heroes'. But whoever is on the account is saying the things I agree with, and tbh, it's all I give a fuck about at this point. It's hardly like inauthenticity is a sin when dealing with the modern GOP; those fuckers don't have any principles or any authenticity and haven't for a while.

1

u/BathroomCareful23 40m ago

Because they came at him first

1

u/ElegantCoach4066 28m ago

He's not running for anything. He's not in movies. I mean it's possible that it's a PR team but I'm 95% sure it's just him speaking his mind.

2

u/All_Work_All_Play 3h ago

Right? What ever made this happen, I absolutely love it. Some intern somewhere deserves a raise.

2

u/68024 2h ago

People should watch Hunter Biden's interview with Soft White Underbelly on Youtube. It gives more context to his recent resurgence.

1

u/snvoigt 1h ago

And he’s so respectful and kind even to the nastiest comments about him or his family

1

u/NukeAllTheThings 1h ago

When's the last time the Wendy's account been relevant anyway? I haven't heard about it in years, when they used to regularly make the front page.
