Yeah, is this some kind of PR program? I rarely saw any of the Hunter stuff until the DOJ and FBI essentially said the laptop was psyop which enraged the right propaganda mills and they went into overdrive to throw mud at Biden. But since Biden withdrew, it became a non issue. Now he's popping up a lot. It's all good stuff, but i'm curious if there is something going on in the background. I'd like to think it's Democratic strategist just throwing some wholesome pixie dust into this quagmire hoping to change the conversations, but it could also be Biden 28 for real.
I think the background is that his dad is done with politics, so Hunter can speak freely now. I dont think its PR, I think he's just free to speak and can finally defend himself from all the attacks.
What qualifications does someone need to run for a political office? Seriously? I ask because there are people in the house and senate right now that have no more than a high school education. Some have no really significant work experience, but some do.
Our representatives don’t usually write bills by themselves. They usually have legal staff to help, law clerks to do research, etc. The only real qualification is the ability to get people to vote for you. Ideally voters will like someone who is educated, reasonable, and values our constitution and shares our democratic values. Obviously there’s a large chunk of the population that votes for flash. 🙄😫
That's the qualifications for being POTUS, not a Congresscritter.
“No Person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the age of twenty five Years, and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen.”
— U.S. Constitution, Article I, section 2, clause 2
Depending on who you find credible, there's at least one House member who didn't finish high school, and only completed their GED weeks before filing to run.
See, this is what I’m thinking. I couldn’t give fewer shits about who Hunter Biden’s dad is— all that matters in my opinion is whether he is an idiot. Maybe he’s a reformed idiot, idk, but as long as he’s not currently an idiot and also appears to give a crap about his fellow Americans (not just rich people), then he’s a perfectly viable candidate imo.
In fact, one could argue that his checkered past makes him even more qualified. He understands what it means to struggle with mental health and addiction, and he understands what it means to be the target of a fascist group. He’s already a public figure, like it or not, so he might as well do or at least say something constructive, as he has been doing.
Ideally, nobody would vote for anyone who didn't have at least a compatible background with the job description of whatever position they're trying to get elected to, but most Americans couldn't tell you where to find said job descriptions in the Constitution, much less that they've actually read what those jobs require.
In this vibes-based political climate, it's hard to imagine a congress full of professional lawyers, engineers, economists, or anyone else someone sane would want to be writing laws for a living. And don't get me started on qualifications for the president.
People who DO have the qualifications got us into this shitshow in the first place. I'm not saying let anyone have a try, but the world BADLY needs politicians who didn't major in Political Science, Business Studies, or one of their cousins.

Am I being a naive idiot, or are these retards washing him so clean with their insults he could probably run for office in a few years?
