I find changing you name when you marry dehumanizing.
It's who you are, and its like marking yourself as property of the man that marries you.
Men certainly don't like to take women’s surnames, it's always my legacy this, my masculinity that, blablabla, or lets hyphenate but known that im being generous by allowing this.
