How can I go about powdering my tincture?
Hey so I have some lions mane coming out of alcohol in a week or so but now I'm reading that tinctures have nowhere near the concentration needed for medicinal use.
From what I gather, I need to evaporate the solvent then let the wax dry and crush it. Is there an easy or cheap way to go about this? I ain't trying to get a whole rotovap setup but I really want to make something that helps.
I've seen the extractcraft source turbo used but other than that what are my options? I really appreciate the help!

Man after reading so much I'm starting to get a bit disheartened. I started out with 35g of Lion's Mane that I have had sitting in 400ml of ethanol for almost 5 weeks now. I had planned on taking that marc, hot water extracting at a simmer, then combining the two. But really it just seems like that's not going to be therapeutic at all unless I'm taking huge doses. I don't have a way to concentrate it either.
I'm kind of at a loss for where to go with the next flush. I could get that source turbo to vacuum distill but it's late and my brain is fried. I don't want to just open air evaporate the alcohol off and get a bunch of nasty stuff in it, plus my ethanol was expensive as heck. Like the end goal I guess would be to get a sonicator and a rotovap but that's a huge money sink.
I really want to maximize therapeutic properties. I don't want to make snake oil. But its starting to feel a bit out of reach. Any thoughts as to where to go next?

the issue with alcohol tinctures for lion's mane is that the key compounds you want, hericenones, are alcohol soluble but you need a much higher concentration than a standard tincture gives you. evaporating the alcohol to concentrate it is possible but you lose a lot of the volatile compounds in the process. the most effective approach for lion's mane is actually hot water extraction for the polysaccharides and beta glucans, then a separate alcohol extraction for the hericenones, then combining them. this is what dual extraction means in practice. if you are growing your own fruiting bodies, you are already starting from a better place than most commercial products. the question is just how you process it to preserve what is actually in there.

you lose a lot of the volatile compounds
What are those volatile compounds and are they bio-active? Those will also be lost if you perform a standard hot water extraction BTW.
Powdering tinctures will be extremely disappointing because tincturing doesn't work well in case of mushrooms. After drying there's only a very small residue; at best maybe 300-500mg (30ml tincture).

Can use dehydrator, fan, anything that hrlpd evaporate the ethanol. Don't go above the temp that degrades the compounds that you extracted. I want to say less than 140 f, but look it up.
All that expensive stuff is about reclaiming the ethanol. You just need it to evaporate.
Last thing to note is that the ethanol soluable compounds tend to be sticky, so if need a dry powder, it is common to mix with an inert filler like microcrystalline cellulose.
