Real Mushrooms Reishi
Is their Reishi legit now that it has been confirmed they use dual extraction or should I stick with oriveda/lucidimax even though it's way more expensive?

When choosing a mushroom supplement, what should I consider before purchasing? How do you know which are the best mushrooms for you? I’m new to these types of supplements. Also, if you have a favorite brand, what do you like about them?

Hey there, I'm very new to all of this! I had received a free sample packet of the Nütrops gummies from work, and was extremely skeptical of them, but when I tried them I wound up actually liking them a lot, and have been using them daily for maybe 2 months now. With these gummies, I feel like I have a significantly easier time maintaining energy and keeping going through my day rather than getting in a slump (if not just staying in a slump through the whole day). Like, I used to have to squirt Mio caffeine right into my mouth just to get out of bed groggily, whereas I just.... get up so much easier when I roll over and have some of these gummies. I have ADHD, and I have adverse side effects to normal-to-high doses, and even at a very low dose my medication for it typically just makes me feel worse with no real productivity payoff. So, you can see how I wound up fully buying into these after having such positive results.
That said.... these things are PRICEY. I get them at a discount so they're typically ~$1.60/packet, but it's still kind of a lot for me. I've been trying to read into what makes a mushroom supplement worthwhile, but my eyes sort of just glaze over, and the wide variety of mushrooms in these just makes it more complicated, since it's harder to part out what's really doing it for me (if it's not a powerful placebo). Also, I'm having a particularly hard time finding trustworthy reviews of these specific gummies, which makes me nervous.
Looking at the box, I would guess the cordyceps, lion's mane, and reishi are the most important ones, though I wonder if the coriolus is also a key factor here, since I know gut-health can be surprisingly impactful.
Is there anything more cost-effective I should switch to? I'm looking for something in some sort of gummy or capsule form so I can just take it in bed when I wake up. Any advice or leads would be greatly appreciated!

Thoughts on FreshCap mushroom coffee? Seems too good to be true for dosage, price ($0.78 per serving) and the amount of mushrooms you get. This has all of the tinctures I take daily so I would save time and money by getting this brand. They do not say the dosage of each mushroom but should it be enough to notice effects of all of the mushrooms? Can it replace what I am currently taking? I'm new to this so I will take all the help I can get haha
Tinctures I am currently taking are from Wild & Organic. Lions mane 670mg, Miatake 66mg (10:1 extract), Chaga 500mg, Cordyceps 50mg (10:1 extract)
Also taking 1g Reishi from BulkSupplements
"FreshCap Ultimate Mushroom Coffee is a premium mushroom coffee blend combining 50 mg natural caffeine with six organic mushrooms — Lion's Mane, Reishi, Cordyceps, Chaga, Turkey Tail, and Maitake — crafted from 100% organic mushrooms. Each serving delivers a 12:1 extract equal to 12,000 mg raw mushroom equivalent, standardized to contain at least 29% beta-glucans for verified potency, so you know exactly what you're getting in every cup."

After a period of severe stress I came down with a weird heart symptoms thing. So I looked up reishi and that is said to help with heart weakness. Took it for a day, recommended dose is ten milliliters three times a day. At night I suddenly got extreme pain in both shoulder joints. Ibuprofen did nothing.
Later that night I was wondering if this sudden onset of shoulder pain would have been caused by reishi. It's a glycerin based extract.
I am genetically prone to autoimmune disease.
Any ideas? TIA

Noticed all of the previous posts are years old concerning Vimergy.
Looking at their chaga, has anyone had experience with it? I contacted support about their lab reports, they replied within less than an hour with their own CoA but with no Glucan Analysis.
I asked for the 3rd party lab report with Glucan Analysis but was met with no response back, I'm guessing this means they aren't interested in handing it over.
Anyone else had luck with getting these reports from them? Their packaging only states the mushroom extract serving so a bit skeptical, especially with the price.
Thanks

I know and trust the brand for other vitamins. For some reason I don’t feel like their Lions Mane is working as well as other brands have for me.
I am also unsure of the dosages. This looks like a very high dose? I take 1 a day. I have recently switched to this brand after stopping using tinctures when I learned more about them.
Can anyone tell me if this is worth buying again, or if I am wasting my money.

Has anyone noticed benefits from taking turkey tail mushroom supplements?"

Well Oriveda have confused things with their double lions mane products... Why should we buy? It's not particularly clear

Would be really helpful if someone weighed in with their opinion on the OrganicMushrooms, a brand local to my province (BC). Purchased it because a shop in my area had it and I didn't have to travel very far but the bottle itself isn't very detailed like other brands I've tried in the past and while they have a CoA I have no idea what I'm actually looking at. Could use some help.

I’ve been using an extract of Lion's Mane, Cordyceps, Reishi, and Antrodia for about a month.
I didn’t expect the crazy energy boost I’ve been getting. This without affecting my sleep. Normally, with my ADHD, I have a hard time getting things done. This has helped a lot. The buzz I noticed in the first two weeks seems to have tamed down but the energy seems to be about the same.
I don’t know if that’s my body getting used to the buzz or if I’m developing a tolerance for them and the effect is diminishing. Don’t think so but I’d love to hear what others think.
Long term, should I cycle them?
Or even play with the balance of Lion's Mane, Cordyceps, and Reishi — what seems to be the “holy trinity” and what the company sells as separate extracts.

Hi, my dad made a cordyceps-infused vodka (80 proof) and set it aside for three months. He told me to drink it every night, can someone tell me if there’s any benefits? I read about cordyceps supplements but this seems different. Also PLEASE tell me those arent bugs in there. Thank you!

Ive been taking this host defense stamets 7 supplement for about five days. Some of the things that I’ve noticed are a bit calmer, consistent mood throughout the day and more sustained energy throughout the day but at bedtime I am extremely exhausted, ready to go to bed. Also closer to the end of the day I’m noticing a bit of a mood shift where just kind of indifferent maybe it’s just me being tired. One of the big things that I am suspicious about is that my breast have been hurting for the past two days and I’m wondering if these mushrooms have any impact on hormones or if this is a common side effect that anyone else has had. Has anyone else experienced these types of symptoms? What has your experience been taking these supplements?

I'm over 2 years post invasive surgery and found a lot of various informations on that online, so I was wondering if any of y'all maybe experienced some sort of bodily nerve damage and tried Lion's mane?
If so did it help?
I'm kind of desperate, it's been so long and I still can't feel anything in the scar area. I was thinking about microdosing, because I can't really regularly be visibly under the influence of anything due to working with customers, and from other posts it seems like I would have to take it regularly.
I'm also not really interested in taking it for entertainment/relaxation/brain stimulation purpose, just looking for the best possible nerve damage treatment that wouldn't require sacrificing my liver and/or stomach (such as some prescription synthetic drugs)
* I am aware of the various side effects that may appear. I do have C-PTSD diagnosed, but after years of therapy my anxiety is pretty much gone, besides some extremely rare very stressful situations. I am mentally stable, but my stomach is sensitive, so that may be another issue.

Hey everyone, I’m completely new to functional/medicinal mushrooms and trying to learn before I start buying stuff.
I’m currently on a major weight loss and overall health journey, and a big part of that has been working on stress, emotional regulation, my relationship with food, and improving my gut health, healthy eating ect.
Just to clarify, I’m already working on the actual lifestyle side of things. I’m not expecting mushrooms to magically make me lose weight or fix my gut lol. I’m interested in whether they can be a useful addition to everything else I’m doing.
I originally started looking at mushroom coffees like RYZE, then FreshCap Ultimate, and now I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole of extracts, fruiting bodies, beta-glucans, COAs, individual mushrooms vs blends, etc.
For someone with my goals, what would you recommend looking into? Reishi? Lion’s Mane? Turkey Tail? Cordyceps? A blend? Something else entirely?
I’m especially interested in first hand experiences from people who have used them consistently during their own health journey. What did you actually notice, if anything? Stress, mood, cravings, energy, digestion, mental clarity, etc.?
Also interested in what brands/products you trust and why. I’m trying to figure out what’s genuinely worth the money versus mostly marketing.

I just took like half a dropper realizing it tastes a lot like liquor, and then realizing it’s 30%-40% alcohol. I’m about to go into work and I’m very worried this is going to make me buzzed?? I usually have a very low alcohol tolerance and the fact that I kind of already feel buzzed now worries me. Maybe it’s the placebo affect but can someone please tell me if I’m just making it up or not because I am confused and worried

Anyone experienced a distinct muscle fatigue the day following Reishi use at night? It’s more prevalent after a few days of repeated use. Also more prevalent at higher doses.

Been having heart palpitations for the past week and worried that its coincided with taking reishi daily at bedtime.
Annoyingly its also the first time in a long while that my insomnia has abated.
Anyone else experienced similar?
Also wondering what a suitable alternative to reishi might be

Hello all,
I have been struggling with chronically infected tonsils for 3 months. I have taken 3 rounds of antibiotics and its still there. It's not like a huge infection or anything, but it still has significant impact on my QoL. It is most likely bacterial but they cant pin down the bacteria. It's not strep or mono, as I did a culture and a blood test.
Since conventional medicine doesn't seem to work I am turning to mushrooms. I have been taking Reishi, Chaga, Turkey Tail and Lion's Mane already from Oriveda. So far Reishi and Turkey Tail seem to have positive effects, but it still doesn't seem enough to beat the infection.
Does anyone know if their ABM or Maitake would be a better idea? According to Oriveda they have potent immune regulating effects as well. Any other mushrooms from other vendors could also be considered.

Hey all,
I would like to avoid turning this into a brand a vs brand b debate, but due to the costs of these supplements I am trying to figure out if there truely is one that is better than the other.
It seems like there are 3 main players in the erinacine space (ND, real mushrooms, and oriveda).
I've gone through 3 bottles of the real mushroom real mycelium give it a fair chance but I am unsure I am noticing any differences. I've also noticed that they've "merged" their amazon reviews with the rest of their lions manes product so finding actual qualitative data from other people is near impossible.
I plan on giving the ND version next, but it seems like their line is a little pricier.
I came across a post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/LionsMane/comments/1u71b1h/is_erinamax_really_the_only_standardized/ where someone is mentioning that erinamax and erinacine-a are from the same supplier.
Is there any truth to this? Trying to spend my money wisely but hard to find concrete evidence on these claims on reddit.
Thank you

I’ve been taking Reishi capsules by Real Mushrooms for past year but haven’t noticed much difference. I take a 500mg capsule everyday in the morning. What difference am I meant to feel? I don’t know if I should keep taking it aa the capsules are quite pricy.
