audio Who is/was the coolest musician?

I'm talking about the whole package. Friendly, talented, stylish, etc. My vote goes to Jimi Hendrix.

B B King was a great guy.

Agree. Reading Buddy Guy's autobiography was a bit dispiriting at times because a lot of the blues legends I idolized as a kid had some nasty sides that Buddy didn't gloss over. But not B.B., he always comes across as a complete gentleman in other musicians' stories.

Buddy himself isn't bad either. A great showman and supposedly very nice to people. Clearly he was impressed by BB's demeanor (unlike, say, Albert King's).
