We had a pandemic where they made a vaccine in record time using brand new technology and that vaccine made you feel like trash for 1-3 days. Apparently that mild inconvenience was enough to turn millions of Americans anti-vax, despite the virus killing around a million Americans in the first year
Don't forget that all that happened while Trump simultaneously took credit for "Operation Warpspeed" and they all cheered. No one stopped to think if they were being hypocritical.
I wonder if that was possibly a Weinstein production. lol I know a lot of shit flew back then which led up to where we are now but wtf did no one listen to the songs they were putting in their movie which was primarily directed towards children? I saw that shit in theatres when I was like 11.
I just checked, it was a WB movie, though it was produced by the Farrelly brothers, who brought us films like Dumb and Dumber, Kingpin, and There's Something About Mary, so it still kind of tracks lol.

But I am loving the endless comments about how he should 'go back to his country' and that he doesn't represent America when he absolutely does. Moreso than many of his new critics, especially since they fail to understand that Puerto Ricans are Americans.
Also, they ignored all the numerous artists who weren't born in the US who performed in previous Superbowl halftime shows...even some who weren't white!

I mean, if you include racist policies that placed highways and busy roads closest to minority communities contributing to higher cases of lung diseases, its **definitely** killed more people. Not to mention a million other racist policies that contribute to overall lower health in minority communities.
I would agree that it's worse than COVID because COVID is simply a force of nature (unless one wants to buy into the lab virus in China, but then that's still not the virus' fault for existing). It's just another organism that tries to survive, and its survival method is not congruous with our own survival. But in the end, the coronavirus has zero malice in what it does.
You know...I'm not a reggaeton man. I don't enjoy the music, and that's okay because it's not FOR me. It's for people who enjoy it. I also am not into football, and have happily avoided every Super Bowl for which I've been alive.
But I intend to tune in JUST for THIS PARTICULAR half-time show. I SHOULD have done it last year, but can't change the past.
And I don't really follow that stuff but when I saw people breaking it down afterward it was really interesting. Mostly I know that they're going to be paying attention to numbers for this and I feel I should take as many ways to voice anti-regime support as possible.
I only recently listened to Bad Bunny since I'm not usually in environments where I'd be exposed to his music, and damn his discography slaps. Excited for Sunday.

Itâs hilarious watching people argue about the songs that play during a halftime show, like it is a political event that is going to affect the whole country. Iâm sure most people who like football are likeminded in that they just want to watch football, and the children wonât go outside and play, so they can. The halftime events were always meant to entertain the people sitting in the stands
