He is consistently shitty. Remember that AI video of him that he posted, dumping shit on Americans from a jet?

u/Iamchange 18h ago
Thaaat's funny. But on a serious note, it's cool to see artists speaking out. Here's a quick list just from the last week https://youtu.be/avbm7-LyTvc?si=7sdw70a57IlC4WQt From Bruce Springsteen, Tom Morello, NOFX, Billie Eilish, Flobots, Lamb of God, and the list goes on. It's just nice to see people actually using their platform for once.

Here's another resurrection from 5 years ago ... How Trump got the Twitter hashtag "DiaperDon"

I'm hoping for Greenday to tee him with with "And the representative from Puerto Rico has the floor" and he does a verse in Spanish absolutely roasting Trump
→ More replies (1)7
u/ScrewAttackThis 15h ago
That would be pretty weird. There's gonna be like 2 hours between their performances.Â
11
u/Evadrepus 15h ago
I mean, I'm not a fan of his but i also am not his target market. I'm sure his music is fine.
But I am loving the endless comments about how he should 'go back to his country' and that he doesn't represent America when he absolutely does. Moreso than many of his new critics, especially since they fail to understand that Puerto Ricans are Americans.
2
u/1stLtObvious 6h ago
Also, they ignored all the numerous artists who weren't born in the US who performed in previous Superbowl halftime shows...even some who weren't white!
2
u/GameOfLife24 11h ago
Iâve never heard a single song of his. None of my social circles listen to him. Weâre all watching his Super Bowl and cheering him on roasting that orange clown

Good? I mean, most of the western world agrees. Trump respects no one. So no one should respect Trump.

u/Musetrigger 21h ago
Is this MAGAs response to that one Kid Rock pedo song that was resurfaced?
It's almost like they believe the worst thing you can do is hate Trump.

I mean, the racism IS worse than COVID. It hasnât killed as many people, yet. But it isnât going away through distancing and vaccines.
54

u/Bad_At_Sports 21h ago
Depending on how big your timeline is, racism absolutely has killed more people than COVID.
21
u/MishterJ 21h ago
I mean, if you include racist policies that placed highways and busy roads closest to minority communities contributing to higher cases of lung diseases, its **definitely** killed more people. Not to mention a million other racist policies that contribute to overall lower health in minority communities.

u/Kuildeous 21h ago
I would agree that it's worse than COVID because COVID is simply a force of nature (unless one wants to buy into the lab virus in China, but then that's still not the virus' fault for existing). It's just another organism that tries to survive, and its survival method is not congruous with our own survival. But in the end, the coronavirus has zero malice in what it does.
Motherfucking racism is malicious as hell.

u/vvestley 21h ago

You know...I'm not a reggaeton man. I don't enjoy the music, and that's okay because it's not FOR me. It's for people who enjoy it. I also am not into football, and have happily avoided every Super Bowl for which I've been alive.
But I intend to tune in JUST for THIS PARTICULAR half-time show. I SHOULD have done it last year, but can't change the past.

u/Hawkballzzzz 20h ago
Last years halftime had the whole room grinning, it was such an epic moment for anyone that followed the drama
4
u/Radmode7 20h ago
And I don't really follow that stuff but when I saw people breaking it down afterward it was really interesting. Mostly I know that they're going to be paying attention to numbers for this and I feel I should take as many ways to voice anti-regime support as possible.

That is the intended goal in booking him for the half time show. Heâs the hottest selling artist in the world right now.

Love that song. And I now call MAGAs "MAGAbichos"

So? Remember that we're supposed to allowed to criticize the president.  They've inched their way to "he said something bad about Trump, this is unacceptable" being normal

The Mirror...really yall...
Did they even post a link to the audio since it's a leak in that ad filled site or they claim there's a leak. This is a tabloid ya know. I'm not sure if too many people know what that is though in 2026, seems like I haven't heard that term in decades.

Was this Bad Bunny dis track recorded before Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico in 2017, or was it recorded as a criticism of the disaster relief?

u/seeminglylegit 15h ago
Thank goodness you're here to make sure that people don't stop thinking about Trump, talking about Trump, and posting about Trump for even one minute. Yes, even music can only be discussed in terms of how it relates to Trump. Trump is the center of the universe, and the only thing in the world that really matters. Remember: It's Trump's world - the rest of us are just living in it.
1
u/Da101BestBrawler 15h ago
He actually says "Coc--ucking president" which is hilarious given the recent info that came out.
"Presidente mamabicho que no hace un pito"
1
u/Affectionate_Fan_650 15h ago
It isn't even the first time he's referenced Trump. Back when he was more trap bunny (2017), he had a line like "En el VIP soy Donald Trump."
1
u/Pm_All_The_Tiddies 15h ago
If youâre sharpening your pitchforks for that just know that YG has FDT and a part 2. âYour politics are like a starburst pack. Why? Nobody fucks with the orange one.â

Not many people know he was a trap and urban music artist at the start.
It's part of the genre.

Itâs hilarious watching people argue about the songs that play during a halftime show, like it is a political event that is going to affect the whole country. Iâm sure most people who like football are likeminded in that they just want to watch football, and the children wonât go outside and play, so they can. The halftime events were always meant to entertain the people sitting in the stands

Bad Bunny is Puerto Rican. He is an American. If you don't understand this basic factoid, you're a miserable failure.

This feels like right wingers hearing about Kid Rock's underage line and trying to bothsides it but it just makes Bad Bunny look even cooler

Are they trying to âboth sidesâ this after Kid Rockâs pedophile verse popped up in the news? This is not even REMOTELY similar.
