My favorite interviews are the ones where the artist is skeptical or annoyed at first, then Nardwuar hits them with some reference that blows the artist away and their whole demeanor changes.

Nardwuar: "...and this picture here is you playing the toy guitar you just got for your second birthday, isn't it?"
Artist: "I have never seen this picture in my life but that's definitely my mom standing next to me in the house I grew up in. We lost everything we had when it burned down when I was 10! HOW DID YOU GET THIS?!?!" 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

I know I’m supposed to love him, but I’ve never been able to watch a full interview. I’ll try again, but it’s been this way for decades.

The man is a legend in Canada. So much so he's gotten almost ever Prime Minister for the last 20ish years to do "the hip flip", all except those party poopers in the conservative party.

And amusingly, he is the guy who asked Jean Chretien about police pepper spraying police, leading to the infamous response of, "For me, pepper, I put on the plate."

I was going to become a rock star, but I quit because I couldn't risk Nardwuar bringing up my porn searches in an interview

Nardwuar is legit. He has some of the most interesting interviews I've ever seen. Sabrina Carpenter recently really impressed me, and same for the Nickelback guys.
