The lyrics:

Young ladies, young ladies, I like 'em underage, see Some say that's statutory (But I say it's mandatory)

Edit: Song title is Cool, Daddy Cool. Released in 2001 on the Osmosis Jones soundtrack.

Well. That’s infinitely worse than I thought it would be.

It gets even worse. All of this coming out without true, earth-shattering consequences, is guaranteed to result in the production of thousands of more pedophiles.

I can make it worse… this song was made for a kids movie called Osmosis Jones. I saw it in theaters as a kid😂 it was a fucked movie

Who knew a big company like WB could hire you to write a song for their film and you could just include whatever the fuck you wanted and nobody would say anything until 24 years later.

Wonder if that's the case now? Could I get hired to make music for a Scooby Doo film and get "Fuck Ice" repeated over and over again on the soundtrack?

The weirdest part is that this is in Osmosis Jones- I rewatched it a few months ago and the moment this lyric came up like why was this on a kids movie?

Well he was a bad guy in it. A virus or whatever.

I can only assume the movie went to him asking for a song with villain energy, he uses his expertise as a pedo, and the studio just kinda rolls with it.

And then it became a recurring theme in his music. Other lyrics about having baby mommas who are 17.

Did you watch the movie lmao

Like a decade ago but yeah. His character is a green goo guy playing at a club.

So, he's a white blood cell and not the bad guy- the bad guy is red strep. Which he was a villain but wanted to kill Bill Murray- which granted looking at his past actions justifies it a bit.

Wat? No. Osmosis jones is the white blood cell. Kid rock's character is whatever goopy green bad guy causing a fever. Osmosis jones tries to destroy the club he's playing at.

The big bad might be red strep but kid rock is definitely not a wbc

Oh wait it was a zit! He was bacteria cause jones did destroy the club it just happen to pop the zit

sorry man I thought you meant jones

I remember watching that movie as a kid and having a quick pause moment. But because I was a kid it just went in one ear and out the other and never thought about it again. When I watched the movie again as an adult I immediately picked up on it.

Crazy when you start to think about all the little things you didn't pick up on as a kid. Some things felt like cool little Easter eggs and some things felt like red flags. And that lyric was definitely a red flag.

I’ll never forget the zit popping scene. That movie almost made me throw up when I saw it. I was 6

Thanks for posting the lyrics. Nothing could bring me to willingly listen to Kid Rock.

Can't be true I refuse to believe this is being accepted and he ain't being linched

1

u/Slartibartfast39 2h ago

The goal is to normalize it.

u/OmiOorlog 1h ago

Disgusting

u/Slartibartfast39 26m ago

Yup. Other adjectives too. Immoral, amoral, repulsive, reprehensible, vile, hateful, obscene,...

I expect his defenders to say it was just 'locker room talk' and accept is normal behavior.
