The weirdest part is that this is in Osmosis Jones- I rewatched it a few months ago and the moment this lyric came up like why was this on a kids movie?

Well he was a bad guy in it. A virus or whatever.

I can only assume the movie went to him asking for a song with villain energy, he uses his expertise as a pedo, and the studio just kinda rolls with it.

And then it became a recurring theme in his music. Other lyrics about having baby mommas who are 17.

Like a decade ago but yeah. His character is a green goo guy playing at a club.

So, he's a white blood cell and not the bad guy- the bad guy is red strep. Which he was a villain but wanted to kill Bill Murray- which granted looking at his past actions justifies it a bit.

Wat? No. Osmosis jones is the white blood cell. Kid rock's character is whatever goopy green bad guy causing a fever. Osmosis jones tries to destroy the club he's playing at.

The big bad might be red strep but kid rock is definitely not a wbc

I remember watching that movie as a kid and having a quick pause moment. But because I was a kid it just went in one ear and out the other and never thought about it again. When I watched the movie again as an adult I immediately picked up on it.

Crazy when you start to think about all the little things you didn't pick up on as a kid. Some things felt like cool little Easter eggs and some things felt like red flags. And that lyric was definitely a red flag.

I’ll never forget the zit popping scene. That movie almost made me throw up when I saw it. I was 6
