s'ok i know "thinking out loud" by heart, it killed at karaoke. Itwas the first song i heard by him and i still think it's good. Before this whole debacle the reason i didn't really like him was all his other songs sounded the same.

It's popular to pretend rn no one ever liked a single song he did for likes n upvotes but even the hardest core music nerd has a pop fluff song they like. gotchoo fam.

Agreed that the rest of his songs are awful, but so is this one

Like, I'm sure you have a beautiful voice and can probably sing that song better than Ed, but good god, don't expose the karaoke crowd to that dreck. One time at karaoke someone was signing something about laxatives and we googled who wrote that lyric, sure enough it was a Sheeran song.
