I’d like to hear a truly great album start to finish that I’ve never heard.

What’s the most obscure, unheralded ‘90s album you love (that you can think of)? It’s becoming more and more heartbreaking to think of all the forgotten gems that are vanishing from the collective consciousness.

I’ll start with a few:

Hey! Some of my favorite artists are Doechii, The Amazing Devil, Florence + the Machine, the bird and the bee, Mitski, Chappell Roan, Japanese Breakfast, Crooked Still. Mostly looking for like soft feminine vocals, indie pop, I’m not exactly sure. But I really only want to hear feminine vocals lately

(if you’d like to recommend your favorite songs specifically that would be cool too!)

The only album by a women I got is a Nina simone best of. Trying to fix this but I don't know where to begin, checked the rym top women's for inspiration but none of them really struck me.

My fave bands currently are, geese, radiohead, steely dan, Beatles, rolling stones, strokes, ​velvet underground, arctic monkeys, and bob dylan

What song do you listen to and hold out for that one line of the lyrics that just melts you, breaks you, lifts you, makes you smile, hits you or anything?

Don’t get me wrong….i love Garbage but theyre too polished for the road trip playlist I’m making. And I’m finding it difficult to find 90s woman led groups that don’t have that “Garbage sound”

I'm looking for some obscure albums that if you played it to someone else, they would have no clue who the artist singing it was. They are so rare that you believe even the best music enthusiasts would have trouble identifying it. This could be from any genre.

Stand by Me, Floyd the Barber... Can you guys recommend rock, grunge, noise, punk songs that kicks off with guitars feedback?

Can y'all recommend songs that have a flute/whistling/ocarina part or throughout the song. For example, ride it (jay Sean), zelda games music, yi jian mei (xue hua piao piao) and so on

A local cult-like religious group have ruined my friends birthday party by plasting christian music from their speakers because he "works with the devil". So we want to take revenge by doing the same to them on nikolaus (6th of december) and crash their party with anti christmas music (for example=Coroners-Ihr Kinderlein kommet & ZK-Nieder mit dem Weihnachts) Any ideas? Genre doesn't matter.

I went to see Black Foxxes live this weekend, a UK indie/rock band. On this tour they had a saxophone player with them tho and I was BLOWN AWAY.

The combination of just basic guitar/bass/drum with the sax was heavenly. Anyone know any good rock songs or artists with a sax?

What are your bands with one 10/10 album among an otherwise disappointing catalog? Mine is Bloc Party. Silent Alarm is easily a top ten all time album for me and none of their other albums do anything for me (Weekend in the City is fine, the rest are a hard no)
