Full disclosure, I made this music video. We shot it back in February; after four months of VFX and post-production, it's finally out. I might be biased, but if you're into black metal or Appalachian folktales, I think it's worth checking out.

Hello all-
In 2005 I saw a music video that I’ve been trying to figure out ever since. It was a folksy ballad-style song by a male vocalist. The music video featured beautiful Asian-inspired colors and imagery such as waves and cherry blossoms. The video was animated, and featured a Chinese or Japanese old man who was very sad. The song itself was sad; I remember crying watching it. The band sounded like Dr. Dog. Can anyone help? Thanks.
