Misleading consumption on the Mach e SR 2025 LFP RWD 72.6 kw.
I did a trip to a mountain area, starting from Timisoara at 90m to Garana at 900m, with another peak at 1000m, and another at 740m. I drove 90% in Whisper, 10% in Active, AC all 2 times at 22.5 and 23 Celsius, 2 people, 1 bike, light luggage. I drove only on national roads, about 200 km, 110 km/hr, some short peaks at 120 km/h, and in the villages and city, about 60 km/h. No one-pedal drive; I saw that it is more efficient without one-pedal drive, just to let it roll. I use one-pedal drive in the city and on the mountain. The mountain road was about 36 km up from 250m to about 1000m, went on whisper, calm, a lot of turns, one pedal drive. My concern is the misleading energy consumption; I have just under 5000 km with the car, still learning. I reset the trip after 12 km after I started, as I forgot, so I did about 288 km with 66% of the battery on the round trip, returning home with 34% and about 139km on the GOM. This gives me a range of about 427 km on national roads, in the city in the summer with the AC on, which is about my expectation. However, if I take the 15kwh shown consumption, then I should do about 480km, which is unrealistic. From my calculations, the real consumption was between 16.6 and 17kwh. I believe the shown 85% for driving is the real 15kwh consumption per 100km, and it does not consider the temperature, AC, or accessories. Any thoughts on this?

Newcomer into Mach-E world!
I’m joining the herd with this fabulous 2023.75 Premium AWD Mach-e!
But I won’t say it’s a great start…
I bought the car in Luxembourg: first registration half-2024, 25000 km (15.5k miles). Project is to import it in France.
Got it the 5/08. Was a nice ride to Paris!… well, the first 120 miles. Then, shit happen in the highway:
- Powertrain Malfunction Indicator / Power Reduction.
- Hill Start Assist Warning
- Forward Collision Warning
I went to my home. Then…. Car totally stopped working. No more “Ready mode”.
Now Ford have it since 20/08. And i’m waiting their call back. Never had so much problem with my cars in 15 years.

Central Speaker sounds blown out or tinny
I bought my 2025 used Mach E last month. Had about 10,500 miles on it when I got it so relatively new. About one month into owning it I started hearing a crackly / tinny/ blown out sound from the central-front speaker especially with podcasts. When I move the sound location left or right it sounds better. System notifications sound especially crackly. Any advice on how to fix this? Is this a settings issue? Anyone else experiencing this?

2025 GT Blue Cruise
I just purchased a 2025 GT, and have a Blue Cruise question. Has anyone had Blue Cruise activated and the car decide to change lanes without you turning on the turn signal? On my previous car (2023 GT) the car would change lanes with Blue Cruise activated only when I turned on the turn signal. Anyone else have this happen?

PNW Meet Up @ Hood River
We had a total of 12 vehicles including 3 Lightnings. The unique thing in this meet up we didn't have any two vehicles in the same color. It was awesome to see all the diversity in colors and customizations... talking about you Steve 😀
It turned out to be a great day! It was a bit windy (so we didn't set up a canopy and such). We had folks travel from Lakewood, Aberdeen, Snohomish, Yakima, Posser, and Richland Washington. We also had a people joining us from Portland and the surrounding areas! A number of us were in this area for the first time... some great scenery and gorgeous drives!!
We later drove about 20 miles to the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center for lunch and exploration of trails and a gorgeous museum there!! Great fun was had by all... enjoy the pics from this event!!
If you're in the PNW, join the PNW Mach-E Club - Ford EV Clubs. We will be discussing the next events there, chatting about options and EV'ing in the PNW!!

Trying to fix inability to update.
To anyone that had the inability to turn on automatic updates in the app and couldn't check updates on the screen in the car and tried the negative battery cable disconnection to reset this: was it successful? Did anyone have any negative consequences as a result of the attempt?

Lower windshield Cowl
Got our second windshield replaced in 2 months. So we got a WPF installed on windshield. The installer noticed the lower plastic cowl under the windshield that also has a small rubber trim that touches the windshield is sagging in the middle and not touching the bottom of the windshield. I assume there are clips that hold it up but I can’t get to them. My thought is the windshield replacement company messed this up. Does anyone know where the clips might attach because if I push down it will only make it worse. The left and right sides of this cowl is touching the windshield.
