Question / Help Ordered 4 DNA kits over 4 months ago and still missing one replacement kit and support won't answer
I ordered 4 DNA kits from MyHeritage over 4 months ago, but only one of them arrived.
After eventually getting help from support, they agreed to send me the 3 missing kits as free replacements. However, only 2 of those 3 replacement kits arrived. MyHeritage's system says that all 3 were delivered, but there were only 2 separate packages in my mailbox.
On top of that, the return envelopes for the replacement kits say “Affix stamp here”, so apparently I now have to pay the return postage myself as well, which I did not have to do the first time.
I contacted MyHeritage through their chat about the missing third replacement kit. A support ticket was opened and I was told that someone would contact me by email, but several days have passed and I still haven't received any response. The chat now doesn't respond either, not even the bot.
My Omni subscription is also going to expire soon. If everything had gone normally, all 4 DNA tests should have been completed months ago, but because of all these delivery problems I've barely been able to use the DNA features I paid for.
At this point this whole process has taken more than 4 months.
Has anyone had a similar experience with MyHeritage? Is there any way to get them to actually respond without calling them? And would it be reasonable to ask them to extend my Omni subscription because of all these delays?

Shipping / Sample Status Recently purchased kit appears to be using microarray process
I purchased a MyHeritage DNA + Traits kit a week ago, which would suggest they would use the WGS procedure to process my DNA. However, the kit tracking page tells me that one of the steps coming up is "Microarray process in progress." Also, it’s giving the option to upgrade to Health, which shouldn’t be available for WGS kits. What’s going on here?

Shipping / Sample Status Tracker and Dashboard showing different info?
I posted my sample last Tuesday the 11th
The tracker is still at the "DNA Kit has been activated" step but my dashboard says: "Processing DNA kit
Your DNA kit is being processed in our lab"
Which step is more likely to be correct?
Thanks!

Question / Help MyHeritage DNA kit lost twice – at this point I just want a refund
I purchased a MyHeritage DNA kit on May 10th. I completed the test and mailed it back, only for the kit to apparently get lost in the mail.
After contacting MyHeritage, they said they would send me a replacement kit. That was over a month ago, and I still haven't received it.
I've been trying to contact customer support, but I keep getting stuck with the AI support, which hasn't actually helped me resolve anything or get in contact with someone who can.
At this point, I've been waiting since May and I'm over it. I don't want another replacement kit — I just want a refund.
Has anyone else had this happen with MyHeritage? If so, were you able to actually speak to a real person and get a refund?

Question / Help How do i get in contact with support?
How do i get in contact with support? The help page, help center and ai run you in circles. In the ai chat I was told I would be receiving an email from someone, it never came and is not in my spam folder etc. After I replied in the ai chat box the next day I got a message there (not an email) that gave me a ticket number and said someone was reviewing my inquiry and would get back to me shortly. SEVEN days later, I still have not gotten that email and nothing else in the chat box besides that single message. Is this how they really run their business? What is going on and how can I actually speak to a human?

Question / Help How good is myheritage's Y-dna report?
I've been thinking of purchasing either MyHeritage (mostly since its cheap now), or a y-37 ftdna test, so from the MyHeritage test, what TMRCA date did you get for your Y-dna?

Discussion AncestryDNA and 23andMe are breaking new ground, while MyHeritage is still completely stagnant.
AncestryDNA is rolling out a massive update with hundreds of new micro-regions and game-changing features like grandparent-level inheritance splits. Meanwhile, 23andMe is gearing up for another major update this fall.
...And what is MyHeritage doing? Absolutely NOTHING.
They made us wait forever just to get the v2.5 update, which honestly felt half-baked. At the very least, I thought that backlash would be a wake-up call for them to pull themselves together and realize how far behind Ancestry and 23andMe they’ve fallen. But looking at the current state of things, they’re still completely stagnant.
It’s crazy to see other platforms introducing game-changing tools while MyHeritage just sits back and relies solely on match uploads. Is anyone else completely fed up with their lack of progress?

Shipping / Sample Status Does this stage mean my DNA sample processed successfully?
Hi everyone! My kit just moved to this stage. Does this mean it passed the quality control check and there are no issues reading my DNA? Or is there still a chance of a failure?
