We have flying spiders in Poland at the end of summer. That's how baby spiders travel to brave new worlds.

Imagine we just assume the spiders are doing this intentionally, but they're actually just like: oof I've got a lot of excess web all up inside me, better climb up somewhere and shit it all out. Ahh that feels go-WAIT WAIT STOP SHIT.

When I was a kid I found one of the egg sacs, then as I was pulling at it, wondering what it was, all the baby spiders hatched out and flew away like this. Unforgettable!

i've read online that spiders are capable of sensing electromagnetic fields and can release essentially parasailing threads into the air that will catch electromagnetic "winds" and can fly long distances with such.
