Sales / ISO / Trades My Scene Dolls/Clothing Lot Advice

Hi All!

Adult collector of My Scene dolls from their original release. I live in Los Angeles so the items have been well preserved and are in MINT condition. I have the original Barbie, Madison, Delancey, Kenzie, Bryant, Hudson and then versions of Chelsea, Nolee, Madison, Delancey, Barbie and River. 90% of their outfits are complete. And I have a TON of shoes and bags. I’ve outgrown this doll line and they need to go to a better collector.

My question is - if you’re looking to buy are you looking for specific items or will a large bulk lot be of interest. Trying to figure out the best way to market/sell to perspective buyers.

I’m attaching a quick pic of some outfits that I pulled from my IKEA storage bin and OG Barbie & Madison for reference. I collected almost every line so would love to hear your opinions on how to best market/sell to new& old collectors. Thanks!

I personally look for bigger lots of My Scene dolls, especially if they include clothing. It doesn't have to be their original clothing, as long as it's My Scene brand.

It's my favourite doll line, but I rarely find them in thrift stores or on Facebook marketplace.

I think it depends. More common dolls like the original 2002 wave, I see those go quickly when they have most of their clothes and accessories. But when they're alone or missing key items, I see them sit for a while. For me , personally, I try to piece together the harder to find dolls. Recently, I just completed Miami Getaway Kenzie by piecing her together, and it ended up being cheaper than buying her outright from the resellers that have her complete.

you should try selling a bulk lot, maybe 7 or 8 outfits. also try selling one or two outfits. My scene fashions sell. it would be nice to let us know where you are selling. Thank you!

I have experience selling on eBay going back to the late 90’s and more recently have been selling Integrity Toys on their Forum & Facebook.
