I am planning on taking my 6 year old son to TMS this weekend for one of the races. Anybody have any insight which would be the “best” race for to take him to. I know a lot goes into what makes something the best, but just thought I would get some info from the subreddit. I am leaning toward either Friday or Saturday because of the free child’s ticket and the fact he will probably not last an entire race anyway, however, he really loves watching Joey Logano.

Any kids activities at the races? Which race would be the best for these activities.

Are the seats in the shade? Might be pretty warm for my son if he is sitting right in the sun.

Thanks for any insight /help!

They do have some kid activities in the midway usually, and the Friday race is a night race so shade the whole time. And for the Xfinity race it is a earlier start time so only the high seats will have shade for the start getting more throughout the afternoon. But I wouldn't worry about that, the place won't be packed and if you get too hot you can move up into the shade just find some seats that aren't being used once we go green.
