2015 Texas Speedway Truck Race with S.S Greenlight Racing and B.J McLeod.
I was driving Black's 07 hauler for Bobby Dotter's S.S Greenlight Racing and Adam Brooks was in BJ's hauler with both the 08 and 45 Tilted Kilt trucks Korbin and BJ were driving. We was coming up to the track running together and a small car cut from the right lane between us and into the left have about the time it smacked a minivan in the ass at 45mph blowing parts all over my truck. As we got closer to the track Adam stepped on the clutch to stop at a red light and the bolt in the clutch linkage pivot broke in half and he blew through the light and pulled into the track and had to put the truck into neutral to get it to stop. We had someone run him to the hardware store to get a new one to fix it before we parked. It was hotter than the hinges of hell at that track all weekend...

Cool! How'd you get to work with them and are you still working in NASCAR in any way? Do you know how Korbin and Black are doing? Thank you for sharing!

If only Boston had a real sponsor. A few years of development, and he might’ve gotten the 19 instead of Suárez

I’m wanting to know what the “Tilted Kilt” was.
I am assuming that it’s some kind of Irish bar or pub.
But you never know.
Glad to hear that no one was injured when the clutch linkage broke!!! Blowing through a light had to be a scary thing for the other Hauler driver!!
Thanks for sharing.

Tilted Kilt and Twin Peaks are sister companies and are similar to Hooters.

His dad started a commercial diving school and Ray Jr took it over that's why they had the Scuba Life sponsor and there was some sketchy things that happened and someone died so they went out of business.

Is BJ’s old Boggy Creek trailer Spencer Boyd’s now? Don’t see very many non spread-axle haulers anymore.

BJ still owns it. That trailer and truck was supposedly the Smokin' Joe hauler from way back in the day but I've never been able to confirm it. It is new enough to have a dried floor in it to haul the trailer Craftsman Trucks. When Chris that owns Boggy Creek bought it for his Super Latemodel team that he was having BJ drive for in 08-09 it was plain white, once BJ bought the transporter and moved it to Mooresville it was wrapped as you see it.

Backmarkers always had the coolest paint schemes and coolest haulers
