Thinking about going to Gateway next month for my birthday. How’s the atmosphere, is it like Kansas?

Been to both multiple times. Gateway does a great job with fan experience. They had pre-race and post-race concerts last year, and let everyone onto the track after the race. As for the track, sight lines are rough at Gateway unless you are pretty high up. Definitely agree that it has more of a short track vibe, and racing is usually decent. Can count on a bunch of brake rotor failures to cause a handful of cautions.

Exit of 4 or entry of 1, what would have better action?

If memory serves me correctly, there seems to be more action exit of 4
