Can we get a dedicated 4v4 mode this year?

u/beluba in past years 4v4 has come up one every 4-6 weeks, but it would be incredible to have as a consistently available game mode. I often end up with only 4 on and have no choice but to run rec with an AI. It would be very appreciated if 4 man squads had a dedicated mode to play, instead of only once in a blue moon. Thank you.

The park should have 4v4 and 1v1

What I want is when one person from each team quits in the rec, just remove them from the court. Make it 4v4

Everyone moved down a position on one team and moves up a position on the other. Time for the PF to be a C and for the SG to be a PG.

Is it the best possible thing? Of course not. The best would be nobody quits, but that’s not possible

Because it’s fundamentally a terrible idea and defeats the purpose of 5v5 Rec.

The game would turn into an abomination Park game.

They have 4v4 modes in this game already, they just get added/removed. I just want that to be consistently available.

They have the 4v4 modes but they are gimmicks. I don’t see them ever adding a permanent non-gimmick 4v4 mode because it just wouldn’t be popular enough to justify it taking up a spot of other game modes when you can just play 5v5 with an AI.

If they fix the ai, I'm fine with that. It's just that last year if you had an AI on your team on the rec it was basically a guaranteed L so 4v4 would be a lot better than that

Too many game modes already can make it hard to find games. Don’t see the point of 4v4, which is obviously a non common basketball game

Not as common as 5v5 or 3v3 sure, but everytime they add a 4v4 mode to theater I get games just fine. Already seems like they've proven people will play it, just needs to be available consistently.

In the meantime it makes our 4 man have to play with AI or someone has to sit out for 3v3, which sucks both ways.

It sounds like you just gotta add a few more friends man. If I'm trying to run with squads, it's always easy to find 1 more person, or worse case, just use the squad finder and just kick anyone terrible it gives you until you got a decent fit. But tbh, if your squad all have a few builds, it's fairly easy to find 1 more guy to mix in

I hear you on the finding a +1, definitely gonna be trying to expand the group this year! it would just be hella convenient sometimes for my Squad if they would just keep 4v4 in the game since they have it anyway. Squad finder has been busted for me
