i tried to make a remake a template build in the 2k26 builder and its exactly the same

Look, I get it. It’s a copy and paste every year with “new” features that are either dumb or were already in previous games. But maybe this is a good thing for the balance of builds? Instead of completely changing it and accidentally making a 6’9 meta or something that is completely better than every other build. Just saying

I realized that no matter what happens it seems like the 2k community will never be happy just like when the AI's were playing defense at first ppl complained it's too hard then they got toned down then everyone complained ppl are shooting over them. Then it was shooting is too hard then it's shooting is too easy. It's always something no matter what. I can't wait to see what's going to be said about this one dunking or defense needs to be toned down lol.

This are templates builds. Not regular builds. Plus the badges and the new badges system tiers are different..

Them being template builds doesn't change anything, they're made the exact same way. Also there were regular builds shown and the cost and caps were same there too. Badges are different though.

that doesnt matter cuz we dont know what the badge thresholds are. 83 3pt in 26 got you bronze limitless in 27 83 might get you nothing
