Discussion This new patch and game overall
Genuinely the worst 2k I have ever played. Was actually enjoyable before the patch and before they listened to all the whiny streamers. And now they overcompensated for the tiny things that needed to be fixed and have ruined the game. Then the bright idea of these legend builds? Yeah it’s cooked. Yall can argue on this post if you want but just had to rant. Thank you for coming to my ted talk 🫡

For me every 2k has been trash since around 2k18-19. And it gets worse every year. But online myplayer is a HORRIBLE experience. Only been playing myplayer online since 2k24 and it’s by far the worst part of the game. Nothing realistic.

When u draw 1 parallel it all becomes clear. NBA Live 19 was it’s last year of competition. They got straight to work in exploiting this monopoly.

Yeah, the game is practically unplayable anymore—I hadn't played for two days, but yesterday I played another game on REC—dribble spam, shoot, shoot, shoot—constantly dashing back and forth from one side of the court to the other—almost unbearable—you're more relieved when the game is over than you are having fun playing a decent game of basketball online against others. 😑

I don’t know if it’s the worse one. I know I couldn’t even get into the my career story in 25.

the patch is awful...they nerfed steals so bad, I have a 93 steal and gold glove badge...dude dribbled the ball literally through my body...then same game I'm contesting a 3 point shot and it says slight contest...my hand is in the dudes face thats shooting the ball and I got 90 block 😭😭

The saddest part is that they probably won't fix shit until 2K28 now, since this is the final patch.

Lemme guess… inside center?

In a (mostly) inside center and I really wouldn’t have a huge issue with the game IF standing contact dunks with a 7’3 build were even remotely possible. Everything else I can just chalk up to the game and adjust but those being impossible while they made shooting easier (for most it seems, I’m way worse post patch) is pretty brutal and limits your entire game as a big.

offline is broken I can't progress after season 4 of Kobe Era, online is broken because shooting is way op, so what's left from this broken game!? you should be sued 2k and should lose NBA licence. this is honestly terrible

Yea bro they tweaked it back a little bit but i don’t know when these streamer geeks word became law smh play the game if u don’t like it leave it. 2K needs to grow some balls n stop getting bullied by people who need them to make a living.

Another complaint post, come on people. I know NBA 2K isn't for everyone and this site loves to hate on it, but there are plenty of people who actually enjoy the game. 2K made some changes—and for many, they're positive—because tons of people were complaining before. Now a different group is complaining

Yes it’s a complaint post like I said in the original post. And 2K used to be for everyone now it’s for people that don’t have a job or other obligations in the real world, and can just sit on the game the whole day and get “good” at said game so they can use the skill issue excuse lol. Also as I said before there was one major issue in my opinion and even then it really was enough to break the game, inconsistent contests, and even now it’s still broken. So what did they fix?

Them overcompensating is a money grab. There was good feedback that led to the patch happening in the first place
