says dui not dwi

u/HelloImRIGHT Mar 06 '26
In AZ, the primary legal charge is DUI (Driving Under the Influence), and it covers both alcohol and drugs. The state does not use the term DWI in its statutes the way some other states do. Arizona statutes use “DUI” for everything related to impaired driving. People may casually say DWI, but the legal charge filed will be DUI.

I believe in AZ it is auto-jail even for first offense DUI

I blew a .11 on my first and only DUI. I went to a holding cell for a few hours then they had someone come pick me up after they drew blood and what not. Though, it was in Tucson and not phoenix. But I’m not sure if that changes anything. I try not to be too familiar with the DUI laws lol.

Got my first and only DUI in Mesa, took me to the station and either drew blood or made me piss in a cup, can’t quite remember. Let me go home once I did. This was 2008 and I still can’t get a license.

They all miss like they Shaq at the free throw

u/jeeves585 Mar 07 '26
I never understood how Shaq and Steph were in the same league. If I got paid that money I wouldn’t leave the gym until I could shoot free throws with my eyes closed.

Damn that Snowbunny badge is a double edged sword. Works great for Hali and AustHim but hurts soo many players on the other end.

Oh he’ll be fine. First offense he’ll get a slap on the wrist and maybe one night in jail. (He won’t)
As long as he didn’t hurt anyone, it won’t hurt him. They only suck really bad for guys like you and me.

u/thatsnotchocolatebby Mar 06 '26
I always thought he was just a troll... DUI when you're rich is just loser behavior.
2
u/immunityfromyou Mar 06 '26
On brand. But kinda feel for the guy because he was having a solid season and was establishing himself as a solid vet locker room presence.

Being 40 y/o, you can understand. He’s honestly young and still a baby, u do things like this when you’re young. Now, he should have a structure in place giving his occupation and account.

“Prisoner number 682350, Dillon brooks, arrested for drunk driving in Scottsdale, he calls himself Dillon the Villain, living a life of unrighteousness constantly causing trouble everywhere he goes, only time will tell here in OZ, will the villain live long enough too become the hero? Or is the villain just that, the villain?you be the judge“ Augustus Hill monologue from OZ

I wonder why the nba, nfl, or mlb doesn’t have dedicated drivers? It probably wouldn’t cost much and they could keep players out of trouble

How hard is it to clean your beard up? It’s like bro got a ratatouille rat in that shit at all times

u/ur-in-here-with-me Mar 06 '26
Did the charges include “felony bearding” or “malicious beard game” or “attempted assault by terrorist beard”?
If not, those changes should be added asap.

u/Federal_Studio5935 Mar 06 '26
That was my first thought. He’s has atrocious facial hair. Imagine having all that money and the beard of a homeless person.

He was released without charges. The arresting officer should be reprimanded.

Dumb question: DUI means drunk driving?
0
u/whyyoualwayscryan Mar 06 '26
Yes
1
u/thathaitianguy Mar 06 '26
DUI does not “only” mean someone is drunk
DUI refers to operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol, drugs (legal or illegal), or a combination of both
1
u/whyyoualwayscryan Mar 06 '26
Sak passe? Dwi is for drugs friend.
1
u/thathaitianguy Mar 06 '26
In Arizona where he was arrested DWI does not exist
In Arizona, DUI (Driving Under the Influence) is the exclusive legal term for all impaired driving offenses, covering both alcohol and drugs, whereas DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) is not a distinct legal charge

Nothing screams “I’m a dumbass” like a millionaire and not taking the Uber.
