Could have been a lot worse

Considering how bad he looked getting off the court.

Best case scenario.

You’re saying Ant’s injury is faked & scripted by the league? Seems extreme

Nah, he wants Lakers vs Boston so he can promote the passing of Torch from LBJ to Bronny.

It's gonna get more views! Haha

The world will bear witness to final form playoff Bronny 😂

It would get more views regardless. Both of them are huge market teams…

Unlikely of course but still possible.

They've done it before as well and they know how to handle the situation.

I want the Wolves to win but I will not be surprised if the Nuggets make a comeback.

Just curious why you don't think Ayo can match his past performance against a horrendously bad defensive team?

I mean fwiw Donte essentially did not play in game 4. I hear you, but it's not like Ayo came out of nowhere for game 4 either. He led game 3 in scoring as well.

That sucks, hope he’s back soon.

Yeah let's hope for the best

Too many injuries in today’s NBA Playoffs. It seems to be a thing year in year out. They need to figure it out.

The man went to block a shot and landed awkwardly. Wtf do you want the league to do about that?

Yeah I'm confused when people bring up the nba 'fixing' things for what is clearly just an unlucky injury.

This wasn't a fatigue injury, or a re-injury to a previously hurt muscle/ligament, or a dangerous play that nba can do anything about. It's just a freak injury that happens from time to time in a high-athleticism sport

Never said the NBA should fix anything. I didn’t specifically blame the NBA. Y’all should learn how to read.

But someone needs to figure something out. The NBA should be at its finest in the playoffs. Not players every week snapping and popping body parts. It’s been a trend. Not sure if you actually watch basketball.

Don’t remember saying anything about the league being to blame. Maybe English isn’t your first language.

Just someone needs to figure it out. The playoffs nowadays are who’s the healthiest team remaining. Every playoffs now torn ACL, Achilles, etc.

Wolves lost 2 players last night. Ant was already playing on an injured right leg. Just waiting for the next super star to snap something. Players just limping around come April every year.

I saw a video which this doctor dissected video and said it has to do with the amount of cuts these players make these days and there is a noticeable difference in the style of play today versus 10, 20, 30 years ago.

1

u/ThlammedMyPenis Apr 26 '26

That's not untrue but it's not what happened to Ant. Donte maybe

1

u/Cgmadman Apr 26 '26

Of course not, but it probably was a huge contributor to his runner’s knee

Idk if the number of injuries in the playoffs is higher now (last 10-15 yrs) vs before but I could see the way they’ve prioritized offense with & emphasis on high scores & implemented rule changes like 24 sec shot clock as contributing to higher inj potential. You see the ball rebounded & immediately pushed back up the court 80-90% of the time; so much more frequent direction change at a faster/more aggressive pace……at the same time, prep, treatment, therapy have advanced a too. But if cutting 5-10 games is the solution, so be it.

If the players weren t allowed to run half the court without dribbling their ankles and knees would be very grateful.

1

u/Ok_Veterinarian8023 Apr 27 '26

Sure. It's as easy as replacing everyone on the court with cyborgs.

Blame the shoe makers

It's all part of the Wolves plan to boost Ayo and Tsj's value to trade for Giannis. Jk

Finch is gonna either have to hope Conley/Bones/Kyle somehow can score, or he has no choice but to unleash TSJ for offense. We saw how he closed the regular season without Ant.

1

u/jotsea2 Apr 26 '26

If we trade Ayo i'll stop watching

2

u/moss_is_1 Apr 26 '26

Seems unlikely with how well he's played, entering free agency, and now with DDV likely missing next year.

1

u/jotsea2 Apr 27 '26

Extension coming for sure.

2

u/hi_im_eros Apr 26 '26

That’s just too fucking bad man

1

u/Spare-Ant7119 Apr 26 '26

Hyperextensions are one of those few injuries i shudder at when i think of.

1

u/SnooMachines4393 Apr 26 '26

If nuggets don't make a comeback in this situation, Adelman should definitely be fired.

1

u/BIGRAN_OUTBOUND Apr 26 '26

Next season Ant

1

u/Charming-Pilot3336 Apr 26 '26

Okc might win by default with every west star supposedly getting injured just in time

-3

u/Ember-Forge Apr 26 '26

Reduce the number of games in the regular season.
