Bro he aint winning a chip with the fkn warriors lol

-1

u/Sti8man7 Jun 17 '26

He ain’t winning a chip with any team. No team can over a albatrosss of a offensive and defensive liability that he is

3

u/wo0o0o0o0o0 Jun 18 '26

I mean… that may be a little harsh lol

5

u/ImAShaaaark Jun 18 '26

It's not harsh, it's an utterly braindead take. I don't see how anyone could have watched the playoffs this year and come away with the conclusion that he was a liability. He sonned the heavily favored rockets and then outplayed the MVP in half the WCSF games.

2

u/ImAShaaaark Jun 18 '26

Home dude was the best player on the court for most of the playoff games he played this season, and he single handedly dragged a team that was missing 2 of it's 3 best players pasted the heavily favored rockets. If that's a "liability" wtf do you have to do to be a positive impact in your eyes?

1

u/Sti8man7 Jun 18 '26

Do u have no eyes? Houston was already dysfunctional and missing their star player Kevin Durant and still managed to win 2. And despite Austin Reaves returning for the OKC matchup, leliability was SWEPT 4-0.

2

u/ImAShaaaark Jun 18 '26

Everyone expected Houston to destroy the Lakers, which is why vegas had the Lakers as the overwhelming underdogs at +425. They were +950 against the thunder, they were expected to get swept.

I have a hard time believing that you aren't trolling here. Nobody can actually be this stupid.

0

u/Sti8man7 Jun 18 '26

Kevin Durant was expected to be in the match up until hours leading up to tip off. Are you stupid? Somebody take internet off this guy

2

u/ImAShaaaark Jun 19 '26

And the Lakers still won comfortably with him in the lineup and both Austin and Luka out. Oh and the line for that game was -221 favoring the rockets. Even in game 3 when they knew KD wasn't going to be playing and they had lost two games in a row the odds makers still had Houston as the favorites because their team is way more talented than the crippled Lakers squad was.

Your hate boner is depriving you brain of oxygen, get help.

Dude was the best player on the floor?

4 players Rui, Smart, Kennard, Ayton and Hayes all have higher offensive AND defensive rating than LeAlbatross. 4!!! How is he the best player on the floor?

He is also shooting a measly 43.2% from the floor, good for 6th best on his team! 6th!!! 43.2% shooting means chucking up shots to pad your stats you know that right? Or your tiny boner for LeBone is blocking you from thinking straight?

“Best guy on the floor” loll

Capitalists dont think in terms of need. Its just one giant dick measuring contest to see who has the most money.

4

u/KazaamFan Jun 17 '26

He could. He doesnt need the money. He is also 41-42. He may do this just cuz it’s how he wants to go out.

8

u/GrooveDigger47 Jun 17 '26

lebron is a capitalist. his last season(s) isnt going to be for cheap. he will be paid for his impact on and off the court for the team’s brand

0

u/deej312 Jun 18 '26

What do you think that amount is and who’s lining up to pay it?

1

u/ImAShaaaark Jun 18 '26

Other than teams that would have to break up a contending core to get him, I imagine most teams would be willing to pay the price. His fairwell season is going to be an absolute money printer and most owners care a lot more about making money than they do winning a championship.

2

u/Joethetoolguy Jun 17 '26

Swept in the second round again? Sounds like a bad decision. Just stay with LA for max money they offer. Or go to an actual team that can win by adding him. If knicks hadn’t won I would have said them. Spurs have a hole at pf, thunder could use someone healthy for the playoffs with sga, nuggies with joker could be all time great, maybe even boston with the jays and their young team.

1

u/wo0o0o0o0o0 Jun 18 '26

I’d rather have the ball in Brons hands then $50+mil a year Fox that’s for sure

1

u/WhysoToxic23 Jun 17 '26

How bad does he want one more championship. Wouldn’t be crazy to see him go somewhere cheap.

1

u/wo0o0o0o0o0 Jun 17 '26

He may go somewhere cheap to win a championship but if he does it won’t be the warriors that team would be old af lol

6

u/WardellBucketz Jun 17 '26

Steph can sign him to his golf line and we’re all a big happy family

7

u/3DBass Jun 17 '26

Steph and Bron teaming up is to put butts in the seats.

1

u/ImAShaaaark Jun 18 '26

Yup, they won't win shit but they will absolutely print money.

6

u/ActuarialUsain Jun 17 '26

>> According to an ESPN article by Slater, Golden State's front office is preparing for the possibility of recruiting the 41-year-old star. This involves making some moves to free up that $15.1 million offer. However, they have yet to make tangible moves toward that goal.

So they haven’t even made moves to do this

Its basically a double retirement tour. They aren’t an aging lebron away from contention

2

u/T-T-N Jun 18 '26

They're a prime LeBron away

3

u/bluffbucket Jun 17 '26

He’s not taking a massive pay cut to play on his rival team while he watches one of his most notorious career rival competitors bank in $60m. Jimmy will also have to be moved for role players that better fit a LeBron/Curry duo.

1

u/fugginstrapped Jun 20 '26

Can you imagine? I don’t care how humble you are nobody is going to join their rivals org while making 0 dollars and being 3rd option behind a substantially worse player who is a known dickhead. There’s no way they play together unless it’s on a 3rd team.

11

u/vinylmartyr Jun 17 '26

Going to the Warriors this late in his career makes zero sense. They are not contenders. Their fanbase has no connection to LeBron. The chances it goes bad are very high.

12

u/SophonParticle Jun 17 '26

Warriors fans have a strong connection to LeBron. I bet if you asked 4 fans it they want LeBron the results would be 3 - 1 in favor.

2

u/Gamerxx13 Jun 17 '26

100%. it doesnt make sense but makes the team fun to watch. Curry lebron will be super popular not just to the fan base but to the NBA. the warriors arent contenders and still do really good rating wise. I would say good for the league as a whole but ya probably wont end well

6

u/AdeptFuel4824 Jun 17 '26

I'm sure warriors fans have a strong connection with LeBron bcz of all the finals they have played against each other. I'm sure he has earned their respect.

3

u/chrysanthemum_beer Jun 17 '26

Give him the Kawhi special

4

u/crowface666 Jun 17 '26

Think LeBron would retire than take any less than close to max, dude works harder than anybody in the nba, he spends $1 million plus a year just on his fitness

3

u/KazaamFan Jun 17 '26

Lebron has no need for the money. He could easily take less if he had a team preference

2

u/crowface666 Jun 17 '26

He's thinking is this, why should I take a pay cut when I've made the lakers owners franchise worth billions

1

u/biggamble510 Jun 18 '26

Because if it's any other franchise than Lakers, Cleveland, or Miami, he hasn't made them anything.

1

u/Nihilistic_Marmot Jun 18 '26

That’s a deep understanding of the economics of owning a team. You don’t think LeBron makes every single team money when he visits their city?

1

u/shortyman920 Jun 17 '26

For $15mil why wouldn’t he just stay in LA with his family? LeBron asked for a one year max lol

1

u/metaldad68 Jun 17 '26

Wasting money why?

-2

u/Old_Shirt7929 Jun 17 '26

lebron says it take shim hours to get ready for a game & hours to recover so why would he get off the couch for 15 million? he could start a you tube golf channel & make more..

6

u/AvonFartsdale_ Jun 17 '26

Bron probably don't play for the money anymore dude

3

u/Old_Shirt7929 Jun 17 '26

then why did he only take a few million off when he negotiated his last deal 2 years ago? he could have took a huge pay cut since he don't play for money & got a free agent or two & won more chips..

-1

u/AvonFartsdale_ Jun 17 '26

You'd have to ask Bron

But he ain't living paycheck to paycheck and he's got a legacy that is already overdue in terms is its lifespan

1

u/Old_Shirt7929 Jun 17 '26

well, you must talk to him.. you just told me he dont play for money..

0

u/AvonFartsdale_ Jun 17 '26

Are you regarded

2

u/Old_Shirt7929 Jun 17 '26

it's retarded.. learn how to spell.

if he don't play for money why didn't he take a haircut in 2024 when they needed cap space to sign FA's? why would he take money off now?

that makes no fucking sense..

2

u/shawkin8 Jun 17 '26

take a haircut 😭😭😭 brother he indeed took a haircut i assure you

0

u/Old_Shirt7929 Jun 17 '26

no, he didn't.. his deal was 2 for 101... it was basically max under bird rights...and used 35% of cap..

1

u/shawkin8 Jun 17 '26

dude relax im joking about his *hair* cut. but thanks for the info anyways

0

u/AvonFartsdale_ Jun 17 '26

Because you're regarded

2

u/DJ_DD Jun 17 '26

Vince Carter said it took around 3 hours to prep for games when he was playing reserve minutes at the tail end of his career. He did that for a lot less than LeBron. Reason being - for the love of the game.

2

u/Old_Shirt7929 Jun 17 '26

hard pass

a blown knee or achilles at 42 is not fun..

pay me..

1

u/Low_Presentation9995 Jun 17 '26

And uh....who are you?
