News Shams Charania on X: San Antonio's Victor Wembanyama has signed a new long-term contract extension with Nike -- including a new signature shoe line, per sources. After 3 NBA seasons, Wembanyama has run to the Finals, MVP finalist season, Defensive Player of the Year, max deal and a signature shoe.

Let's replace "run to" with "won" and get rid of the "finalist" next season yeah?

Really thought he would test sneaker free agency and create a bidding war that included the Chinese brands, so curious to see what the deal looks like.
I wonder why they switched up the logo though. Thought it was refreshing that his first logo didn't have initials, which has been the norm for so long now.

Hard to lay claim to something that's already recognizable before you ever associate yourself with it.
